Motorola A1200 cell phone battery will not charge with AC chargers
HI,
If your phone is still under warranty the best solution is to get it replaced. The problem is actually with the port of the charger.I mean the hole in which you plug in your charger isn't working properly.Where as your USB port is different and works properly so it charges the battery. So you will have to get this repaired.

Languaje
Well, i finally change the firmware. In this phone this was not as difficult as in a older one that i had (no special cable is needed), and versions with a lot of lenguajes are free to download in the net. I used one that call "amin extreme elite C2". If you need to do so, please reed carefullythe "How to...", that it is writen in a few pages (i used this, but is in spanish!! http://www.comunidadmoviles.com/index.php ).
Bye

Help with my a1200
Switch off, and after a few seconds switch on. It should come alive, try pressing the red button (on right side) gently while it comes on (may be reqd if it does not detect network).
Or, go to service centre!

Cell missing
You should have your IMEI number of the device - if you have retained the original packing, it may have it. Or if you wrote it somewhere use it. (Generally, you can check the IMEI number by pressing key combination *#06#).
Use the number to complain to the police, and also share it with your operator to track any calls with this IMEI number. Whoever uses the device can be tracked by the operator. You may be able to atleast block the device and make it useless for those who has stolen it. If you lost the SIM, you may be able to get the same reissued by your operator on the basis of this complaint.
Good luck!
