HP LaserJet 4350dtn Printer - Page 2 Questions & Answers
I have HP Laser 4350N,
Usually printers receive and store jobs to be printed on the device before they actually print the documents which should be printed. if queued jobs are a lot on the printer it could have problems of slow printing but being that the printer is on a network this seldom happens as documents will be processed with precision.
Another thing which could cause slow printing is a low level of ink in your device. If the level of ink in the cartridge is low the unit will find it difficult to pump the ink for printing and therefore bring about sluggish printing.
Although 12 pages per minute is not so bad a speed for the printer to run as it is a heavy duty machine.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

Hi i got 49.4co1 and 49.5001 error on my printer. ...
The P3005 is known to have problems with a chip on the formatter, gives
various errors to include the 49.2d9d, blank display and others. HP has
not issued a recall or service advisory but is fully aware of failure
of the chip on the formatter. Repair for this is to print a
configuration page, replace the formatter board, bring the machine back
up in service mode and put in the correct serial, service code and page
counts into the new formatter's nvram memory.
Liberty Parts Team
at lbrty.com has refurbished formatters at reasonable pricing with no
return core to worry about. The PIN needed to access the service mode is
10300506.
Other problems with the P3005 are grinding in the
fuser area, correctable by removal of the fuser, replacement of the 4
accessable gears in the side (left as you look into the back) and the
main gear on the fuser then put the fuser back in and should be good.

HP Laserjet 4350 not recognizing addtional paper
Print a CONFIGURATION Page. On the 1st sheet/right side near the bottom will be a list of the trays that the printer detects. If all the trays are there, then your print drivers need to be reloaded. If the CONFIG page doesn't see the extra trays, then the tray may have a bad connector. You might want to try a COLD RESET.
HP LaserJet LJ 4350 locks up when duplexing
Symptom: Your LaserJet 4350 prints just fine until you try to print a double-sided page. Then you see the page start to exit, pull back in, then stop. The Data light continues flashing green, and the display reads, "Processing..." There is no error indication, but the machine won't print the second side and continues to hold the half-printed paper in the duplexer. If you open the top cover and close it again, the printer will eject the page, then try to print the whole thing again, unless you're quick enough to cancel the job first.
Cause: The printer is expecting a different sized paper than what it's running. Often it's not the menu settings, but a little lever in the paper tray itself. Pull out the paper tray you're trying to print from and look for a little blue lever on top of its right-hand side. The lever is labeled "Standard/Custom." Flip it to Standard (parallel to the tray side) and your problem should go away.
Replacing swing arm assy
If you haven't done it before, don't attempt it.
The printer has to be stripped. All covers and all circuit boards except for the DC Controller have to be removed. Power supply has to come out. Right side duplexer guides come out.
It's not even mentioned in the service manual.
Find a tech and watch him do it the first time.
HI, I have HPLaserjet M3027
All I have been able to find regarding this problem seems to point to issues with the firmware. My initial assessment is in agreement with these findings.
First, run an information sheet from one of the printers that works and one from the printer that gives you the error.
Compare the firmware versions for the Jet Direct cards....the one that does not work should have the same version as the one that works. If not, I would try upgrading the firmware on the card.

These are all 64bit Vista drivers. Make sure to choose right one that your printer needs from first 3 choices. Ie.. Pcl5e, Pcl6 or Post Script. Have fun.
