Samsung flatscreen turns on but screen does nothing. HELP please.

Check the internet. Most likely a series of cheap capacitors. Replace them all (the ones that match the culprit). ~.20 each US.

No audio output from speakers or jack

Check the speaker/s. If found OK; check and replace the damaged component/s at its audio output section circuit board. If needy, replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Search the site by type in the "brand name" to your device; in the "Search box at the top right of the display window of the Homepage" to get gathered related posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/

LNT4661F tv black shadow on left won't go away been told its the back panel does this make sense?

Hi most likely yes it is your panel. However there is a chance that it could be your t-con board. I would say 80% Panel 20% chance that it might be your t-con board. The T-con board is fairly inexpensive compare to teh screen so I would give it a try first. You can get parts at www.interliquidparts.com

HI I have a Samsung LN-T4661F

Is it like this?:http://i691.photobucket.com/albums/vv275/oldskewel/samsung_LNT4661FI think I have the same problem on my LNT4661F. I happen to also have a 4061F and just temporarily swapped main boards, which confirmed that it is NOT the main board which is bad. Swapped LVDS cables to confirm that's OK too. If you replaced the T-con board, then that leaves the power board or the panel. Did you make any progress on this? All the caps on the power board look good, but I hear a whistling noise from one of the power transistors.

I am having problems with

Your problem is typical of Samsung LCD TVs. The capacitors on one of the internal boards are rated at 10V and should be higher. If you open the case, you'll see bulging capacitors. If you can handle a screwdriver and soldering iron, you can actually fix it yourself with a few capacitors from an electrical supply store. Simply read the specs off the bulging capacitors and get a higher voltage-rated replacement. For exmaple, if the capacitors say "1000uf 10V 105C", you would replace them with "1000uf 35V 105C" or similar rating. Or an easier method: Recently, Samsung themselves have been making repairs as it is such a widespread problem. Call Samsung at 1-800-726-7864 and they may just repair it for free, even if its not under warranty.

How do you connect the speakers on to your flat

This model has speakers. If you are trying to connect external speakers i.e. a home theater system, receiver or a sound bar you have a couple options.

This television only has hdmi inputs so you cannot connect the external speakers with hdmi cables. The television would have to have and hdmi output.

Now in order to use hdmi you would have to connect all your devices to the home theater and then go hdmi out from the home theater to one of the two hdmi inputs on this television. Then you would leave the television on that hdmi input at all times and switch devices with the home theater remote.
All the devices would be connected from their respective outputs to a respective input on the home theater.

Another option is to connect a fiber optic cable from the television to the home theater.

Another option would allow for stereo sound but not the higher quality surround sound. You can connect from your televisions red and white RCA outputs to the RCA input on the home theater.
