use a different memory chip. the chip you got was password protected

you guys all have lens faults which can not repaired without any experience on repairs. camera should be sent into a panasonic repair centre.

I would first try resetting the camera to the default settings, and directions on how to do this are on page 22 of your user manual. I have included a link to a PDF download of your camera manual in case you need it. If this doesn't resolve your issue I would have the camera looked at by an authorized service technician. GOT IT!!! I had the same problem. Took all of the screws out of the thing and disconnected the PCB. That allowed me to take the Lenses unit out. Once I did that, dismantle the Phillips screws from the rear of the lens and pull the lens apart. I found a Little White speck of dust on the Sensor. Took that off, put it all back together and it’s like New!! Chuffed. Hope you have as much Luck as I Did. :D

hi lumix_user, these fuses are surface mount fuses and can not be changed by yourself, more damage will be done to the unit if you have no experience in the repairs department. take it from me i have seen what damage is done to units when they have been tampered with. please send to panasonic agents for repairs.

i suggest that there is likely a motherboard fault or a board fuse has blown. the fuse needs to be replaced by a qualified technician, this will prevent any further damage to motherboard.

I had the same problem a few months ago. Best bet is take it to get it fixed. If you still have a warrantey it won't cost you a thing. Good luck!

I would recommend formatting your existing disk. If that doesn't cure your problem then replacing the disk should do.
