The source input changes by itself.

Do a reset to this TV, and then check. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. https://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electro-medical.blogspot.com/ To some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement. To some models sets, the back-light inverter and SMPS section circuit will be integrated at its main board itself. If so; the main board should be replaced. To some models of sets, all these section circuit will be integrated at its main board. If this is the case, you have to replace the main board.

Backlight is out. Picture and sound are ok - just really dim. Where to test to see what part is needed?

Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ In some models of LCD TVS; the backlight inverter and its T'Con board will be a part of the panel itself, and will be a built-in type inside the LCD panel. If so, they can't be replaced. In this case; a panel replacement is the only repair. For some other models, the backlight inverter section circuit will be a part of the main power supply regulator [SMPS]. To such sets, the power supply section circuit too should trouble shoot. Contact any service technician. The circuit will differ with models and versions. Type in the brand name of your device, in the search box [at the top right] of the display window and the Search will start at once as you type in, and will show you all the related posts. It will make surf easy.

HDMI hook up is bad how to fix it

That's a pretty broad question. Is it the cable, is it the female end on the back of the tv? If it's on the tv side of things then you'll need to open up the tv and check connections to the HDMI port. If all is good, replacing just the port is an option. It should have a part # on it if you want to be certain it has the same connection to your tv. I suspect they're almost all the same, I've only seen a few from a couple tv brands.

How to take the samsung pl50 video cam of standby

There should be any short circuit to any of the circuit boards inside it. Check and locate the board first. Being a plasma display, the circuit will be quiet complicated to an experienced person to work on. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

Hp pl5060 Plasma TV has no sound or pix. Screen flashing white

I have a seven year Plasma TV HP PL5060. When I turn on the TV, I have sound but no picture, the screen display (power on) is a snowy blue screen and vertical pink stripe. What is causing this problem and how can I fix it cheap. I can afford a TV repair man at this time, because I am laid off from work. Thanks.

Hdmi sound unavailable

I had this problem for weeks before giving up. I just had another go and i resolved this by downloading my gpu driver but not installing, then i un-installed my mobo hd sound driver and my gpu hd sound driver. Then i installed the latest nvidia driver from my hard drive. When the driver activated i got some buzzing for 10 secs and then presto (hd sound) via HDMI. However my pc tells me still "no audio capable display". computers are often wrong.

If the set has a input or source button on the outside or side it can be got at and removed (not the plastic button but the switch under it) they do fail in this way and with it removed and the issue gone you can use the remote instead.
