unplug your usb or any cord that links to your printer...
then press and hold the power button of your printer (it should force your printer to shutdown)

then plug-in your usb cord (connector/cable) back to your computer then turn in you printer again... wait for your computer to recognize it

(note the green light blinking is an indication that the printer is busy) therefore you should wait for it to be recognize (note: a sound maybe heard once your computer recognize it, some may appear as pop-up)

it should be ok now make sure you still have ink in your cartridge

Open the top cover to see the jammed paper. If u wont see the paper then you have to open the cabinet of the printer . After opening remove the paper

dont worry its always like that, sometimes the refill ink from tis design are normally recognizing its slow but after all when you keep using that and print more... it will not prompt again...

hey rose, I'm afraid a normal user won't be able to hook up those old drives to eee. However, you do not need a cd-rom to install the printer drivers. Just download them from lexmark.com homepage and install them from your hard disk! =)

This is normally caused by a driver problem. Go to the Lexmark website, find the Support section and download the latest driver. They will generally self-install on opening the downloaded file.

Power supplies rarely fail

If you plug the supply in and press the wire leading into the plug you have just put into the Laptor in towards the plug does the power light come on
Or if you move the cable up and down or left to right does it come on.

Most time the wire breaks just as it enters the plug top and this can be repaired by a competant shop

You really need to have someone with a voltmeter check out if there is a supply at the computer plug before your buy a new one

The outer of the plug is negative and the inner positive , set the meter to read around 100vdc .

It seems some part is broken inside, better to send it for repair.

The part has been broken in my printer for over a year now. I hold the cartridge in with a rubber band.

Re-install the driver by using the original CD, if you need the driver over internet just Click Here and write 2470 on the search form .. then download the driver and enjoy your printer again.

I think you re-filled the cartridge and that's why you got this message
Use genuine cartridge and it will be work correctly.
But if you can copy papers by this All-In-One device .. and you can't use it as printer .. re-install the driver .. While installing if you got error message like [Unsupported cartridge] Press [Alt+F4] and continue the installation.
