1. Tap the screen to bring up the Main menu.

3. Tap the arrow in the bottom on the left or right until you see the Change language button. Tap Change language.

Hi, touch screen to go into menu, choose 'change preferences' and go through menu until you find option 'set clock', choose this and set the correct time, you can also choose a 12 hr or 24 hr format.

The device can be run from the lighter plug without being charged first. The obvious answer is: plug in the device again; when the car is key is in and electricity switched on, it should charge again.

Most Tomtom devices also come with a standard USB cable or charge cradle with non-standard connector on device end (but USB on the other). It plugs in a PC for use with the Tomtom HOME software and also for charging.

Yes, you can plug your GPS device into your USB port to charge it. Your computer (if running) will assume you are connecting the GPS device to your computer, and It will start up the program for your GPS device... e.g. to update the map, backup the data, etc. You can proceed to do all that, or ignore those programs. My GO 950 offers a button "Delete" in the "Recent Destination" list. Open the Tomtom menu and select Navigate to... ---> Recent Destination, and touch the button. After confirmation, this will delete all entries in the list.

Older versions of the NavCore software installed on the device, or other TomTom devices may not have this button, or you may want to delete selected entries only. This is not supported using the device's built-in software or the Tomtom HOME PC solution.

Good day sir/madam There are most likely 2 sources of such problems, the battery or the charger. Test the battery on another device, but before you turn it on, charge it for about 2 hours on the device before powering on, if it turns on, then the battery is okay, but if it does not turn on the other device,then you have to replace the battery.
Test the charger on another device to see if it will charge it, if it charges, then the charger is okay, but if it does not, then the charger is bad and the solution is for you to replace it with a new one.
Other components to test is the charging port, to test the charging port, try a well tested charger and battery on the nuvi, if it does not seem to charge, then the charging port is bad and need to be replaced.
By the time you carry out these activities, you would have been able to detect the exact problem and solve it at the same time.
