hi, to change language in your device you have to reset it. no info will be lost when you reset it. first make sure the battery is full. hold on/off button untill it starts up again, this will take more then 15 seconds. after this you can choose the language you want. good luck

hi. when you look in the menu, go to main menu, select change preferences, (sometimes first show all in this menu) choose reset factory reset. when you do this all the personal user settings favorites, homeadres, recent destinations etc. i think thats wat you want. good luck

tomtom say it is not possible to change batteries. because you can use all kind of loaders for in cars, home, dockingstation etc. sorry for you.

You can change this by trying Preferences and then click the arrow until you reach night colours and day colours, click on the day colours, or if you dont have a manual for this unit please feel free to email me on [email protected] and i can email you a pdf file which will explain everything you need to know about your unit, Colin.

To register your TomTom, go to http://www.tomtom.com/ and then click on Create Account.
From here fill in the varion boxes and finally register the unit.

Generally one must exactly tell the GPS what you want... so it goes... State, City, Address, you want to go to. EVERY time.
