I recently purchased a new TomTom ONE. It works fine. Will it still work fine for me it Spain and France next month in a rental car, or do I need additional features or programming? If so, what needs to be done?
All you need is a map that covers the countries you will visit...

Could you please tell me how to change the time on it.
Go to "change preferences" in the menu then page forward to "set clock"
Specify the preferred clock format then "Sync"... you can then use the up or down arrows ( above the hours & mins) to set the hour for your own time zone.
then select "Done"

TomTom One N14644 text to voice - I hooked it up to the tomtom site to update maps and everything is cleared off. The only message on the tomtom is No Maps Found! How to I get my stuff back????
I do some work with TomTom - it's possible that if something interrupted or went wrong during the install, the map could have been deleted. TomTom is aware of the problem and is working to fix it - if you are map-less, call support (866 486 6866) and we can work on getting you a new map.

Recently bought a new tomtom and need to know how to register for the first time please. The address that is given is www.tomtom.com/10 and i cannot find this address.
i could use the URL you supplied and it took me here

my new computer WINDOWS 7 does not recognize my TomTom GO usb connection? .... not a recognized device?
Used to work fine with XP
Does your Win7 computer recognize any USB devices? If not, this is a device problem.
There could be a problem with the cord. You may need to replace it.
First thing I'd do is download and install the latest version of Tom Tom Home.

If the TomTom does not register, that means that somebody else may have used your serial number.
In that case contact Tom Tom by phone or email to register your Sat Nav.

Follow the link, register your details and you will be sent a £10 voucher by email to use straight away on the TOMTOM shop.
Just enter the voucher code into the left hand box when looking at your trolley.
Your email receipt will have an attachment - download it.
Once completed, go to TomTom Home on your computer, make sure you are
logged on with the same email address that you bought the voice with
and then connect your device. It should automatically update and itself
and store in your voice selections.
If you've already registered just sign up with a new email address to
take advantage of this. You might have to adapt the email attached to
your TomTom Home to download it.
