Many cribs do convert to full size beds by using a standard metal bed frame (often called a Hollywood bed frame) and using the non moving side of the crib as a headboard. How old is the crib and what parts do you need? If the crib was made in 2006 or earlier, you can contact Delta Enterprise (who makes the Delta Luv cribs). They made the Dana cribs way back then. If it is 2007 or later, contact Pottery Barn direct. Don't ever use anyone else's hardware on a crib other than the manufacturers. Also - please don't use the crib with any broken or missing hardware. It is very dangerous!

I 100% agree that Pottery Barn Kids is terrible. Williams Sonoma (parent company) used to have top notch customer service and now it seems to be among the worst.

We had the exact same experience and got stonewalled by PBK.

Solution - Call the manufacturer. In the case of our crib (a 6 year old Dana model), it is made by Simmons Juvenile. It should say on your crib exactly who the manufacturer is and should also have the model number. Look for the stickers towards the bottom on the inside. Their website is http://www.simmonskids.com/consumer_service.cfm. They answered the phone immediately, and could not have been more helpful. Charged me $14 for parts that I needed.

I don't know that I will ever buy a product from PB again, but I certainly would from Simmons.

I have run the larkin sleigh crib through 4 kids. I have the toddler bed conversion kit and it is just a 3/4"x5" board that bolts to the mattress frame and keeps the mattress in place. It is only necessary if you are desperate to fill the 1.25" gap between mattress and outer frame so the mattress does not shift. Otherwise, just remove one gate and put mattress on lowest setting, you will be fine. In my pic for some reason I only had it on second lowest setting and the frame would still keep the mattress on the bed. A better idea would be to find a taller brace to use that will keep your child from rolling off the bed accidentally.

If you know the dimensions, you can try Home Depot, in their Hobby woods area. Quite often, they will have either a perfect fit or they may be able to help with an alternative solution. Also Hobby Lobby or Michael's may have a usable part for you.
