Camera says usb connected ALL THE TIME! it wont let me take photos

Screenshot or more details needed. This sounds like camera is faulty, but i dont want to believe it. Are we talking about web cam or like photo camera? If web cam, then just get new one from ebay, no point to have headache when they are so cheap on ebay. But if we are talking about photo camera then make sure you have right drivers installed, all usb settings are correct on cam. I mean, some devices are charging via usb and wont let you take photos unless you change usb setting to media transfer mode. Check those. But if photocam does a photoshot but image is blank then you might have a faulty photo cam

Can't upload pictures onto windows vista

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries. Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa. Organize edit and share your photos

Frame full

I had the same problem with a fujifilm camera, the good news is that it's easy to fix. On the shooting menu (press menu when the camera is in shooting mode) there will usually be a set-up option, within that you should see "Frame No." or something similar- the two options for this are either "continuous" or "renew". If you are experiencing the Frame no. full error it means that you are currently set to continuous; TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM SWITCH THIS SETTING TO RENEW.

Hope this helps!

Try replacing the batteries. Unless the camera came with rechargeable batteries, they usually have to be replaced. Some pc's do not have the capabilities to recharge batters. Double check your paperwork that came with your camera.

Look for arrows on your battery that correspond to symbols on the camera. If that doesn't work, peer in and take a look at where the contacts are inside the camera. Try to align the contacts on your battery to those when you insert it. Hope this works!

Camera will not connect with Mac

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your Mac.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire).

Or you can use iPhoto or any other photo cataloging program.

I have a fuji film

Hello

The problem is that the lens has become stuck in the barrel. There are some DIY solutions you could try, but the probability is that you will have to get it fixed by a professional.

Use these at own risk as it may further damage the camera.

Firstly , try connecting your ac adapter or usb cable.

Try holding the shutter button while switching on the camera.

Look at the lens , and if some of the lens 'circles' is misaligned or not concentric then try wiggling it (while holding camera lens down).

Try gently pushing or pulling the lens when it extends but this is risky as it may cause the lens barrel to slip out of its guidance system.

Another way to do this is to place the camera lens down on a hard surface and then power it up. Be sure to use a soft cloth or something similar as to not scratch your lens or casing. Let the lens push the camera up and down a few times and sometimes the little resistance provided by the camera is enough to get things going again.

Try hitting your camera near the lens on the body with the soft tissue on the palm of your hand.

Other than that , I would take the camera to a repair centre for a evaluation to see if it would cost more to repair than to replace the camera.

If it is still under warranty I would suggest you take it in before trying any of these steps and remove any off-brand batteries or accessories as some stores are really fussy about warranty repairs on camera's with non-brand accessories.

You can also have a look at THIS link.

Hope the advise is useful. please do not hesitate to let me know if you need any further assistance. Also, please be so kind to let me know if you found this helpful.

Regards
Andrea

I have bought a F401

The newest review I could find on this camera was in 2007. I hope you received a manual with it. This camera uses an XD card an SD card will drop in the slot but not work. Okay when you first get the camera the day date and time need to be set. there is an internal battery that retains these settings. What you need to do is go into your menu and format your camera may call it initialize the memory card both the camera internal memory and the memory card in this case an XD card. It doesn't matter that it's a new card or camera the memory has to be formatted. each time you down load pictures to your computer hard drive the memory card will need to be formatted. After you have formatted your problem should go away, if not I'd be taking it back.

My finepix z5 by fuji flash quit working how can i

I had the exact same problem; my camera wouldn't turn on when unplugged from the wall, and wasn't charging, and I thought that it was broken.
It turned out that I actually had the battery in the wrong way around (embarrassing for a technician really :| ) ; you have to flip the battery so the left is now the right side and vice versa. NOT top to bottom, just a flip on it's Y axis (if it were standing with the shortest face as a base).

How do I transfer pictures from camera to pc

You can't.
The date is hidden in the exif data in each picture. But you can print images with date on them, thru the DPOF option in the camera playback menu. You need to have a Pictbridge compatible printer to do this.
