Unfortunately there is no code for the Comcast remote that will control the Vivitek line of TV's. What you can try and do is a code scan. What the remote will do is try every code it is capable of producing and then if one of them works on your TV you can then lock it in.
Comcast has a number of different remotes but these instructions should work. If not then check your manual to see how to do the scan with your remote.
1) Turn on your TV.
2) Press the
TV button once.
3) Then press and hold the
Setup key until the
TV key blinks twice.
4) Enter 9-9-1. The
TV button will blink twice.
5) Aim the remote at your TV and then press the
TV key and then the
Power key.
6) Keep doing this until your TV turns off. Once it does that means you have found a key that works.
7) Press
Setup button once to lock in the code. The
TV button will blink twice.
This may take some time before it finds the correct code. There is also the possibility that the remote will not work with the Vivtek TV. If that is the case you may have to look at buying one of the truly universal remotes. These have far more codes for many more different types of TV;s. Logitech makes a number of them that you might want to look at.
