My (Panasonic TC-32LX70) TV will not turn on with
Contact Panasonic with complaint. Otherwise check remote function by pressing power button while pointing it toward the camera in your cell phone. If you don't see the led on the front of the remote glow in the sgreen of the phone then the remote is the problem.

Power issues with panasonic tc32lx70
You need to go to Panasonic dot com search for TC-32LX70, go to software updates. Use a blank SD card and format it save the firmware file SDDL.SEC to it. Carefully open the "service panel" you may need to remove the entire back case? since it seems the frame is holding the service panel down. 1)power on the TV
2)insert the SDcard with firmware update into the rear(lx70) or the sdcard slot on the side(lx700)
3)follow the on-screen instructions.
4)when it's finished, remove the SD card.
turn off or unplug for 30+ seconds
then plug it back in.
5)power on.
6) perform the first time setup.

Hi, just bought panasonic LCD
Hi,
First don't attempt to open the back panel of your unit because it will void the warranty.
All you can do now is to report it as soon as possible to the dealer where you bought the Tv. This is entitled for replacement of new unit. Keep your receipt and all the accessories including the warranty card and send it back to them. Your money is not worth of this factory defect.
Hope it may help you.
Have a nice day!
Thanks for using Fixya.
