This seems to be an Operating system issue , best way to resolve this is by Re-Installing the Operating system which will wipe everything in the laptop Hard disc, At the Acer splash screen, you can press Alt and F10 to bring up a DOS style version of eRecovery. The unit is able to reload Windows from this mode faster then from CD. If the hard drive is replaced the system loses its eRecovery features. These features are on the hard drive and cannot be reinstalled

Hi! The problem could be on the keyboard itself. You will have to replace the keyboard to make all the keys to function. Once replaced they'll all be back to normal. Hope this helps and have a good one!

try to uninstall and reinstall it

if the poer light turns on but nothing happens on the system possible the power supply on the motherboard which distributes the power to all the components of your laptop. and this means that you will need to have you system motherboard replaced, if I may have you tried removing the battery ans turning the system on using the adaptor only ? try it it the system turns on possibly the batter is causing the motherboard some issue on distributing the power to the system and may need to be replaced, try the batt first before going to the option of replacing the motherboard ^_^

Hi. I think if your machine has no DVD or an Optical drive installed then you have to purchased one because you could RIP any CD or DVD without an Optical Disc Drive. Hope This Helps

u will need to get ur headphone jack replaced as it it the only sound out u have, secondly, u can go to anyone who repairs motherboard and get it done. its not neccesary only from the company because u will be charged more there, but mind u they give warranty for their work. so ur choice

shut down the laptop and start it again...immediately start hitting f8 key..select option ....safe mode....
if it works go to start .accessories and system tools and restore the system to previous date where in it was working fine..
it should be able to work perfect then

try doing a system restore back to the point when it worked.

if this is about bios password ...the way to dispose it is to reset bios by short the bios battery pin..(some models have switches ) or just remove the battery of the bios for a few seconds...this will get the bios to the factory defaults and remove any passwords from its memory ...The action is necessary if you have settings to make in Bios or have devices disabled..cause any move you will make it will ask for the password..
the operation require to open the laptop an remove the keyboard..

PRESS AND HOLD THE FUNCTION KEY AND THEN PRESS ARROW KEYS TO UP OR DOWN THE BRIGHTNESS.

Make sure that you are using the right cable to right port of the laptop and insall the CD for your projector.

Hello,

Your e-mail are still comming because that mails are stored on your mail server where you have your mailbox.
If you will delete that mails from the mail server this problem is resolved.
If you are using Microsoft Outlook you can setup outlook to delete mail from the server too.
