Sanyo DP26746 26 in. LCD Television - Page 3 Questions & Answers
Color too pink/red. have tried to go to menu and
Hello,
The red/pink tint is caused by one of two things, either the backlight bulbs are going out or the power supply that powers the bulbs is not putting out enough voltage to fully light the bulbs. The backlights are just really small
fluorescent bulbs, if they don't have full power they light with a pink tint. No amount of adjusting will correct this issue. You will need to have the TV serviced.

Sanyo DP26746 LCD TV shuts
If the tv shuts off immediately, it usually indicates a problem with the LCD backlight inverter board. But since you hear the relay click it can be the relay circuit on the power supply board too. Do you have sound when the display goes off?

Tv not working
Can you confirm that you didn't have any input signal?
My wife once accidentally pressed the reset button on the remote and the TV was stuck in this state. I tried to hook up an antenna to the digital antenna input and let the TV search for a channel. It did find a station and got out of the channel search mode, which was all I needed. Then, I unhook the antenna and continued to enjoy my DVD movie.
I didn't check the manual. So, it's possible that there is a better solution.
My TV was working fine and I think it just has a terrible user interface. I'm not sure about your TV's condition, though.
Set up lcd tv
Make sure of correct input
HDMI is best
cable box must be set to HDMI
otherwise input to channel 3
Hook up TV
The Yellow is your VIDEO ( which will plug into your VID 1 input on the TV
The RED and WHITE are your Audio Left and Right which will plug into AUD IN on the TV
All of these will be in the same row.
If your using the Cable lead out of the Box then there's no need for the Y-W-R that means you will leave your set on channel 3 or 4. If you are not connecting the output cable from the box to the set and using the Y-W-R then you switch your input from the TV to VID 1,, and your done!
No picture, has sound

Sanyo problems
This could be a series problem and I would suggest to any or all of you check with Sanyo to see if they are doing anything about making you whole again.
