The CS-9028iT remote control isn't one that I can find a reference for. The CS-902831T was a standard accessory with several Sanyo televisions models. One of which was the Sanyo DP42410. Bad main board, common on sanyo sets

You did not post the model number but if the unit uses pushbuttons on the actual set, the carbon coating on the inside of the switch pad is flaking off and causing problems. You may be able to remove it and clean it up and it would be fine, you may have to use a new coating on the buttons though.

What model of the Sanyo TV ? Are you sure it supports Bluetooth ?
