I have a latitude XT,
It sounds like your default profile might have become corrupted. You can make a new profile and transfer your information to the new profile. But before doing that try scanning your computer for virus's amd malware infections.
If you do try the new profile and plan on transferring your information from one profile to another make sure that the old profile is not password locked. Or transfer the information through the Administrator login.
Best of luck...

Same as above, with my laptop being studio XPS 1640
Well, as long as your pc is under warranty, Call Dell and have the keyboard replaced. it takes 24 hours to order the part, and 15 minutes to replace it. By this time tomorrow, you could be all set like a new 'vette. Good Luck!

I have an Inspiron 1525 Dell Laptop with windows
You may have a bad connection. You could try taking the keyboard off and unplugging it, then plugging it back in.
If that doesn't work try using a usb keyboard and see if you're able to type. If you can type, try changing the laptop's keyboard, and if you can't type you may have a currupted OS.
If none of these are the problem, you have a bad keyboard port on your motherboard.

Number keys not working dell laptop
have you or anyone spilt liquid on the keyboard?
do you regularly clean your keyboard?
sorry for the obvious questions but you would be suprised how much chaos it could cause....
here are a few checks for you to do (if you can use a usb keyboard)
1) clean your keyboard of moisture, dirt and grime
2) check your antivirus to do a scan to ensure that the keyboard drivers havent been corrupted by a virus
if still the same then:
3)remove the keyboard and look for corrosion on all pins and/or conectors (corrosion will be a greenish/white color)
if corrosion is found then use a solution (cheapest being vinegar) to clean the pins and/or conectors
if still the same then your keyboards driver maybe corrupt, if so then
download the driver from dell's driver site and install, after the
instilation do a create restore point or back up your drivers (id put
them on a dvd r disk myself) and keep them for future reference.
if this doesn't sort out the problem then it's definately a hardware failure, which means fail......
hope you sort the problem out soon....;-)

I want to know about some adventures video games?
Check out Big Fish Games. It is a subscription service but they have all types of games including adventure and hidden object. You can also tryp Pogo since they have both a fee and subscription service. Last, but not least, you can try one of your local computer stores or the electronics section of "big box" stores like Target, Walmart, Kmart, etc.
