How you confirm that yoy have problem with screen and not with gpu (graphics card) of the laptop. If you connect the notebook with external monitor you get picture or still white colour.

I can't get you clearly, if you buy the product (win vista) then it should come with the DVD but if it's a crack version, you need to apply patch/install the crack so that it'll not prompt you again.. If you have problem with this, do let me know.. through my email.. Good luck..
You need to turn off Windows updates. For this go to the Control Panel--->Windows Updates and select Turn off windows updates. The only solution is to send it back for repair, to HP. Sound drivers and other software will not fix a soundcard/speaker hardware issue. They stated they need to either re-seat the sound card, or replace the card itself. It is not just the speakers, but the card itself. Try using headphones, you will hear the same problem. Send it back for repair, and INSIST they fix it the first time.
To replace the screen is very easy. Just Open the screws of the screen which are on four corners of the screen. If you can't find the screws. Please remove the rubber plugs on the sides of screen , down there you will see the screws .
