Scanner component scans and prints normally.
check the ink cartidges (the color ones) scanners use just black ink to print with (all grayscale) if you can't buy/ afford cartidges right now (who ISN'T broke these days!?!) then set the preferances on the printer to "black/ grayscale" and see if that works ( also is a good test to see if ink is out)
Won't print black
Hello Pfcuozzo, Hi, try replacing the black ink cartridge, if the ink is new, then you have a dirty ink cradle with harden ink, try softening this with a piece of cloth dipped in warm water to soften the ink, once cleaned, do a test print. continue cleaning until you get the right printout.
Blue ink will not print.
I'm having the same problem, so far I've removed the printerhead and using a cotton swab, cleaned the printer head using an solution of alcohol antiseptic. so far its not been successful, however I did just put in a few drops of the solution and going to run about 6 test sheets and let it soak overnight to see if that helps.

Before installing the device you have to unplug it first and install the installer and if requesting to plug that's the time to plug the said device. If not requesting to plug the device just finish to install the software and if its finished. Plug the device and the computer will detect the printer and will install to your system. But all of these you have done already, the other solution is to reformat your computer. Have a nice day
The printer works OK but it prints two lines
Set the print quality to normal or best.
Clean the printhead
Run a calibration.
The Kodak EasyShare AiO performs a calibration every time you install or replace a printhead. However, you can run a calibration if you are seeing changes in the image quality. Calibration aligns the printheads and performs a nozzle health check to enable high-quality prints.
1 Load the main tray or photo tray with photo paper.
IMPORTANT: If you don't have any photo paper, you can use plain paper, but photo paper is highly recommended for calibrations.
2 Press and hold Photo and Cancel together to make a calibration print.
3 Follow the instructions on the calibration print to calibrate the printer.
