Hi, A faulty Tcon board is often found responsible for wrong colour type faults. Some times the main board is also found faulty. If it has happened all of a sudden, it is not aging.

would say that the screen lights have gone. usually they flicker for a while then come on. then off etc. more than half the screen has gone so the power from the inverter is not being used so it turns off the tv. it is a very fiddly job replacing them as you can damage the screen in the process. more easyer just to get a new screen.

you could try returning in all of your channels from the main menu the tv can do this automatically but you need to select the procedure1. click on the home button 2. scroll sideways till you reach settings 3. in settings scroll down or up and click on digital set-up (centre button of your scroll control) 4.then scroll down to, and click on digital auto tuning (centre button of your scroll control) this will activate automatic channel tuning the tv will do the rest and will wipe out old settings and retune in all channels

Hi, this could be a problem with the power supply in the tv, it is common especially on some Samsungs and specific repair kits are available quite cheaply if you have good soldering skills, this can also apply to many other Flat Screen TV's .

Usually this is caused by capacitors that have dried up and split, you can normally tell as the capacitors are bulging on the pcb, you can get them in a kit as I said eBayer's sometimes do them or you can buy them indivually from a good electronics components supplier, make sure you get the correct values for each!! marked on the side of the capacitors in xx/x V, xxx/x uF and 105oC. (the x's represent numbers)

The picture below shows the type of theing that happens, the brown ones are bulging/split on the top whereas the black one is fine.

There could also be dry solder joints on the panel, usually applies to the power supply as it's mainly these get the hottest.

It's also worth considering claiming under the warranty for replacement or repair through you dealer if warranty is valid.

All plasma an LCD ts have boards that control vertical and horizontal output to their respective areas. They are connected to the screen by ribbon cables. If one of these boards fails all together, has a failed chip, a bad connection, or a bad ground somewhere it will result in a black line in the area of that board. A bad ribbon cable connection on the bottom will result in a vertical black bar though the screen. Many times resetting the connection will fix it, if the ribbon cable has been nicked there could be a severed connection. They an sometimes be fixed, but it is a pain. An yes I have done it, but the bar is gone. The same will happen if the chip that outputs to that area opens. The connectors are the first place to look paying close attention to the cable, they are extremely delicate so great care must be taken.

A 10 times flash is some type of internal communications error in the set. Not much you can do, it needs a qualified tech. One thing you could try is unplugging it for a day or so to see if it will reset itself

Unplug the TV for a while and hopefully, that should reset the circuity. If you're using the original remote control, check for the display button and press it. I would also suggest doing a factory reset if your TV has that feature and if the TV allows you to do it after unplugging it.

netflix is a 100% internet web site , streaming site. thus the net in flix. what did you mean by hooked?\ do you have internet at home at all? do other things in home work to the internet, like PC or cell phones. what I can not under stand is (different room) this phase implies some rooms do work (netflex) and wifi gets weak if my move any TV farther from the home router and will fail past 25 feet or more. wifi is super weak through walls for sure brick, or 2 walls. if home is small one wifi access point is all you need if huge home more. distance matter, TV to router. no TV model # told. (tells me wifi spec) if you said my TV works in room 1 but not room 2, wifi;. it be super more easy to answer.. is this true? if true , get a tech to upgrade your wifi. or go wired, Ethernet.(a better home upgrade)

The front and back pieces are like a clam shell and are compression fit with tabs into one another. You need to use something like a guitar pick or spudger to separate the pieces. Dont use metal objects due to damage that will happen to the plastic .
