Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3 Digital Camera - Page 5 Questions & Answers
How to view dates while printing for Lumix DMC - TZ3
The camera will not show the date while taking pictures. The camera can stamp the date onto the photo, but the image size will be reduced. See page 66 of the manual:
http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/DMCTZ2.PDF.However the date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.
Camera won't trun on
It is either a battery contact problem or it is something more serious with the camera.
Can you add extra lens
There are just too many different brands and models out there but if you check your user manual it will tell you this info.
Panasonicl lumixdmc-tz15 usb driver
You don't need a driver. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as
Picasa.
Want to set for maximum dpi
Dots per inch (dpi) is an output specification and is irrelevant to the camera when taking a picture. You set it in the printing program when sizing the printout.
Copy is Greyed "out"
if the picture is grey then the file is corrupt and unfortunately that means that data is lost.....
Retrieving file
There are companies that claim to be able to retrieve deleted files on mem cards, if their space has not been written over by other pics taken sense, or a mem card FORMAT. Google it.
Your better approach may be to try to recover the files showing 3Meg size on your computer download. Sounds like mem card quit working correctly after first 100 photoes. Was this a name brand SD card like San Disk or Panasonic? Beware of off brand junk sold on ebay or other sites CHEAP. They are designed to report back the size they claim to be, but are 1/2 size capacity or less in reality. You never know until you need your photos. The other thing is SD cards fail and are never a good as a BackUp source for files. For file xfers only in general.
Good lesson for all is to be sure all your pics show up on your computer before deleting on camera.
