Free download to to download picture to laptop
You don't need any software. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or, despite what said first, you can use any photo cataloging program such as
Picasa.
Camera lens shutter does NOT OPEN!
Seriously this is not worth payi.g to fix unless you paid serious money for the camera. The shutter is also mechanixally tripped by the shutter button. Its a electrical charge that connects to the processing chip inside.

DMC TZ5 Ind0or Red colour
Hi,What you're describing is a classic indication of an improper "White Balance" setting. Please look at the
manual, page 98 in particular - as it discussed White Balance settings. The manual will open automatically if you have
Adobe Reader installed - otherwise, follow the linked title above to download & install it (a free program). In most situations, using the
AWB (automatic white balance) setting on the camera will provide very good results. If set to some other value however, the colors may develop a blue / green or red /orange tint to them. You can quickly locate all the places in the manual that mentions white balance by clicking on the binoculars icon and typing "white balance" (no quotes) and clicking search.I hope this helps & good luck!
Locked memory card
Remove the memory card from the camera look along the one side and slide the switch away from the contacts which should unlock the card, if closest to the contacts it is in the locked position. If the switch is in the right position, "slide it back and forth to clean the contacts" repeat if needed, if this fails replace the memory card.
