From the Home screen, press the Start softkey. Select Settings > Phone . Use the arrow keys to navigate the menu. Then select the Caller ID sub menu. You can set the phone to show or hide your phone number to everyone, no one or your contacts. Press Done to save and exit the menu.

Get the Unlock code from service provider....

if this problem occures wahtever the battery full or not , it means soft ware,, but try first powering on using power supply it will help more....

Ya...It's possible to unlock your mobile....You can get the unlock code here theunlockarena.com and also get the unlock instruction in the same site...

You will need to contact ATT for this or seek out an unlock web page on the web. Each phone takes a unique number so their is not a single master code. But I would recommend waiting a month or so as ATT is purchasing TMobile

1. Go to Application
2. Go to Java world
3. Go to My games ( or the folder for new applications)
4. Go to where you have your Opera Mini
5. Click options and scroll to settings
6. Select your prefered config. setting
7. Edit and mark where you have "Proxy"
8. Underneath input the IP and Port
9. Go to Advanced settings to check wheather APN, User ID and Password are intact.
10. Save and Activate.

use a different charger. sometimes a more powerful charger will force the device on since it isnt the right wattage... I have the same problem and use my gf's phone charger for her verizon phone.

Did you reset it? Get out the battery and after 5 minutes, put it back. It must do something. If not going to call, sim-card must be out of service, but another functions must work. If not, you must reinstall software.

Yes, the SGH-i607 can support an IMAP account, and Gmail can be accessed through IMAP. They don't list the SGH-i607 as a supported client, but it should be possible to configure it to work with Gmail.
First, go to your gmail account and enable IMAP:
Sign in to Gmail. Click the gear icon in the upper-right and select Gmail settings at the top of any Gmail page. Click Forwarding and POP/IMAP. Select Enable IMAP. Click Save Changes.
Next, configure the SGH-i607:
While in standby mode, press the left soft key for Start Select Messaging Select New Account (3) Select Other (POP3/IMAP), using the navigation keys Press the right soft key for Next Enter your name & E-mail address, using the Qwerty keypad Press the right soft key for Next For User Name, enter your full email address (including @gmail.com), using the Qwerty keypad . For Password, enter your Gmail password. For Domain, enter gmail.com. Press the right soft key for Next. For Server Type, choose IMAP. For Account Name, enter your full email address (including @gmail.com). Press the right soft key for Next. For Incoming Server, enter imap.gmail.com and select "Require SSL connection". For Outgoing Server, enter smtp.gmail.com and select "Outgoing server requires authentication". Press the right soft key for Next. Select desired message settings, using the navigation keys. Press the right soft key for Next. Select desired configurations for Storage and Connection. Press the right soft key for Next. After you have determined how often the device will connect, press the right soft key for Next. Setup will now be complete. Pressing the right soft key for Finish will enter the newly-created account in the Messaging application.

I ran into the same exact issue. Here is a simple fix:

With the phone off, hold UP on the center D-pad and then power on. It tells you to press 1 to reformat and reboot, or press any other key to skip. Note that this process will erase all files (contacts, 3rd party applications, calendar entries, pictures, videos, etc.) and settings on your Blackjack and make it as fresh as the day you bought it. The hard reset fixed the problem in about 30 seconds.

If you talk to ATT person, they will simply ask you to get a new phone. I had debated getting a new phone but finally searching on the web helped find another person who had the exact same issue and mentioned it. So I thought I would share with others. Good luck.

Is nothing related to the phone software. The Power buttonmay not be working properly. However take your phone to an authorized service centerto fix this problem. No worries this could be fixed by replacing the keypadsensors.
