If your printer has 3 colored ink cartridges, your cyan (blue) cartridge is empty. Replace it with a new one. If your printer has just one colored ink cartridge, the blue section of it is empty. Replace the cartridge with a new one. You'll find the correct cartridge (normally a number) in the owners manual and/or on the cartridge itself. See the owners manual for instructions on where the cartridges are located and how to replace them.

A similar error (0xc19a0035) started occurring on my printer and eventually it would constantly power on and off. Apparently some defective components were used in the construction of the logic board (see photo). On my C6180 there were 3 failed capacitors (the green cylinders - the puffed top indicates failure) and a 4th from the same manufacturer (TEAPO - many unfavorable web references to this manufacturer). I purchased 3x 330uF 16V and 1x 680uF 10v rated to 105 degrees Celsius (total about 60cents). On the logic board, the capacitors I replaced are labeled C613, C614, C660 and C662. If you are not comfortable replacing the parts yourself (or don't have a soldering tool), you will have to find someone who will. The time to repair should be less than 30 min - I did it in 25 min with only a solder pen. This also fixed the ink system failures the printer was having. A similar fix may apply to other printers.

Basically it is a one sided paper like a one way street, mean to be used one side. It is only mean to be used one side..like a one way sponge soaks up the ink from closest side, turnover and it is blocked paper not able to soak up ink on the dull side.

Idiot manufacturers, only the guy the engineered it would have clue what such a number meant. Even HP\'s own site has no clue. I guess it could always need cleaning. Printer do odd thing if their roller are gummed up.

Hello, U may try these steps FIRST - 1 Disconnect the Universal Serial Bus (USB) cable from the back of the product, but leave the product turned on. 2. Open the cover of the product and remove the print cartridges. 3. Close the cover and wait for the Insert Ink Cartridges message to display. 4. Disconnect the power cord from the back of the product and the wall socket, then wait for one minute. 5. Reconnect the power cord. If the product does not automatically turn on, press the Power button. 6. Open the cover and reinsert the print cartridges. 7. Close the cover. If prompted, print a calibration page. 8. Reconnect the USB cable, and try to print a print job from the computer. In case the above steps does not help , You may try the following steps SECOND - Get the unit into the "Support Menu" by following the steps below according with the product, see the steps below:

A.- Press and hold the "*" key. B. - Press the "#" key and release both keys. Display should say "Enter Special Key Combo" C. - Press and release in sequence the "1", "2" and "3" buttons. 2. Press and release the right arrow button until the display says "System Configuration Menu". 3. Press and release the "OK" button. 4. Display should say "Hardware failure status". If not there already, Arrow Key over to "Hardware failure status", 5. Press and release the "OK" button. 6. Display should say "Hardware failure status: Clear. Press OK to clear". 7. Press and release the "OK" Button. Message changes to "Hardware failure status Cleared. Press Cancel to continue". 8. Press and release the "CANCEL" button as many times as necessary, so that, either the "Welcome to Photosmart Express" screen appears, or, the "Ink System Failure" screen appears. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO PRINT AT THIS STAGE. 9. Using the Power Button, turn the unit OFF and unplug the power cable from back of the printer and wall outlet. 10. Wait 30 seconds for the power to get discharged and then plug the power cable into the wall outlet first and then into the back of the printer 11. Turn the unit on. The printer may display message "USE POWER BUTTON TO SHUTDOWN THE PRINTER" followed by "PRESS OK TO CONTINUE". Press OK. The Printer will start the "ONE TIME INK INITIALIZATION PROCESS". Allow this process to complete and do not interrupt. Once the initialization process is complete, the printer will print out a Diagnostic Page. 12. To verify printer functionality print a SELF TEST PAGE. If SELF TEST prints, then printer is ready for use or Software Installation. I hope this helps !!!! 1) Try to restart you system with the printer unplugged. 2) Try to Pause the printer and then delete the items in the que 3) If this doesn't help Delete the printer and re-install it.

You need to replace the chip on the cartridge. Try any refilling company for an aftermarket chip. Derek

I would first try a printhead cleaning operation. This will clean the printhead to obtain the best printing possible.

Look inside the printer where you installed the cartridge. Clean the metal contacts on cartridge and the corresponding contacts in the printer. Do this with cue tips dipped in rubbing alcohol. Then reinsert cartridge and then turn off printer. Wait a few seconds and then turn it back on.

If you have a C6180, the error code you give here is not in the manual, so you better contact HP service centre like the manual explains.

This is a job best left to a shop. However, if you are bound and deternined, as well as, experienced it can be done. You will have to disassemble the machine to got to the rail the print head slides back and forth on. At that point remove the rail and slide the print head off. An alcohol bath with a soft bristle brush should clean it up nicely. Reassemble it in reverse order. Adjust and calibrate and you should be good to go. Get a tech manual for the printer. It will save you time and aggravation. You nay be able to find one at feedroller.com.

If the product runs out of memory while receiving a fax, it terminates the incoming fax and only forwards the pages and partial pages that have been stored in the memory. When it is using the fax-forwarding feature, the product (rather than the computer) must be receiving the faxes, and the answer mode must be set to Automatic .

1. From the Home screen on the product control panel, touch the Fax button.
2. Touch the Fax Menu button.
3. Touch the Receive Options button.
4. Touch the Forward Fax button, and touch the On button.
5. Use the keypad to enter the fax-forwarding number, and then touch the OK button.
