My HDMI Terminals for Pro-Ro6u Media Receiver is

This could be an HDCP "hand shake" problem. Try turning both the TV and the connecting device off, connect the two using HDMI, turn both of them back on, select the proper input and see if you get a picture. If nothing happens try the other HDMI inputs by following the steps listed above. I hope this helps.

See the following Thread for more information about problems with the Pro-Ro6u.

I have a 50 inch

My understanding is if any air gets in this area where the glasses are it will not work. You better ask a tv repair man to see if it is worth putting the money in to repair. There should be no charge unless you have him do something to it.

The screen is black. when I cycle through the different inputs, the input display appears for 3 seconds and then disappears. I get a display of "Plasma Display--No Input Signal".

Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

My picture only shows black and white on my pioneer elite once i unpluhgged it fron the cable box. the box isn't broken and the color on the tv works on the menu if i disconnect the cable

Check the color level for that input. While monitoring the cable box go to the video part of the setup menu. Make sure the chroma or color is up to its normal setting. Some TV sets have independent video settings for each input. This way each input can be separately set up. There is a possibility something went defective thus causing the chroma processing to not work, but this rare. The menus showing in color are from a different built in circuit than the one that decoded and processes the program video.
