My pioneer plasma tv in standby mode and wont turn on

Try restting it by unplugging the tv for a few mins and it should rest to original factory default settings but leave it unplugged 10-15 mins to be sure.

I moved my pdp4270hd and when setting it up a

Main system control memory IC fault. This is a very small IC; have 8 solder terminals, and can be located very near to the main system control-chroma IC. Check and replace it. Be sure to replace it with the same number printed on it; in all respect. Otherwise, it won't go. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Before replacing it, try a reset to this set, and then check. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here.

Pioneer Plasma TV-PDP-4270HD won't turn on. TV

Try this! There should be a power button on the bottom of the panel that has to be depressed for the television to power on. It is the main power supply button and without it there is no power going into the TV.

LG sound bar connected to Pioneer TV by optical cable not working

1. if you have something else that you can test the optical wire on. do that first. dvd player etc... if the test item works, it's the sound bar (or a setting in the sound bar.) 2. check the audio settings on your t.v. make sure it's set to output to optical. 3. replace the wire. if none of these solve the problem, the t.v.'s optical output may be bad.

Tv makes buzzing sound all the time no matter what volume level

A few steps to take to narrow down issue:1. With sound all the way off do you hear the buzz?2. If no buzz that way try the rear inputs with a DVD etc to see if same issue. If the buzz is there with no sound (turned all the way down) and via rear inputs you have a transformer (most common area is power supply) that is vibrating hard enough to create the sound or buzz.Only two ways if that is the case to deal with it---replace the board it is coming from (have seen brand new sets with this) or in some cases I have been able to locate the offending part and apply hot glue to it and stop the buzz.SD TECH

What type of speakers can i add direct to tv without using a amp/receiver?

Unless it has a hookup for external speakers do not do it---speakers must match inpedance of original speakers, wrong speakers can result in damage to audio circuit of set, cause reduced sound levels etc.A inexpensive surround sound system might be a option......
