This isnt a one step fix. Power off unit then while powering on tap F8 key to get menu with option to boot to safe mode. If this works could be a driver or malware issue which can sometimes cause windows to come up in safe mode but not normal mode. This is only a start not a solution.

Hello,This usually indicates that the filter capacitors in the power supply are not working right. When the unit is turned on they should build up a charge that lets the board power up the monitor but when they start to go out it takes longer and longer to get the charge built up. Aside from the capacitor and IC, there's a relay that you need to change. You need to locate that defective relay on the PCB and replace it.

It would be best to consult the manufacturer of the LCD and get the exact part number of it.

Hello,That is a common symptom of a failing power supply board. The filter capacitors start to go bad and the power supply can not stabilize and start correctly, after the capacitors are powered up for a while they can hold a charge and the power supply finally gets going. Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them there probably old and faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electic extensions or just replace them they are probably old and faulty a computer needs its connections to have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error hope this helps don

It sounds like you have a monitor with a common problem, this series of Acer monitors are known to have this issue. After a few years some LCD monitors will blow a power supply. The problem is caused by parts called capacitors overheating in the confined space of he monitor. When the capacitors blow out they also damage the driver MOSFETs. If you are good at electronics repair/soldering you can usually fix he problem. Check out a few pictures on my web site www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm You can take the back cover off your monitor and look for the bad parts, replace any that look like the pictures and your monitor should work fine. The capacitors do need to be installed with the correct + and - connections, note the stripe on the old one and insert the new one the same way. When the lamps are bad, the screen will shut down if the inverter cricuits is sensing open (lamps will not fire up and conduct, or lamps are drawing too much current). You should open it up and inspect the caps in the power supply first, lamps in this monitor are ntoeasy to replace (screnn will to be complete,ey disassembled.

Please verify that you are running your PC video card with native resolution of this monitor, 1680x1050 @60Hz for best picture for this monitor.
Unless you may have problem inside the monitor or the video card itself, so try this monitor on another PC also.

how r u tryin change???

lcd monitors have a auto resize button...

but for your icons... you can do this...

right click in any part of the window then arrange icon then choose if you want for name or etc.

If your video card has installed software go into the application and find the display property you should be able to change it through there. If not find the display button on your monitor and try that feature.
