Camera does not recognize any sd card

See if camera electronics can be reset. Contact the manufacturer for this procedure. If nothing can be done to restore camera to factory defaults then the electronics are fubar. May not be cost effective to repair.

Memory card in backwards and its stuck

OOPS!! Take care. This could damage the camera seriously. Try a pair of tweezers, like the women use to depilate. Try to pull it out in a straight way. Don't jitter. After you have removed it, look with a magnifying glass if no contacts in the camera are bent. If only one contact on the card has a title dent, or is bent, don't put the card back in the camera. For a few bucks you buy a new card and it is not worth risking your camera for that.

Kodak z7590 out of focus

It is almost impossible to not use the AF mode from the camera. Perhaps you managed to put the camera in Accessery lens AF, without any extra lens on the camera. Or perhaps only the pictures are blurred, because you zoomed in to far, without a tripod. As long as I can't see a picture it is difficult to decide where the problem comes from. While shooting a picture, just press the shutter release button half, till the green light goes on. Then press the button fully. Success

Memory card full empty

first you should save the pictures to a computer. After you delete them they are gone forever. But the view menu, you just press the menu button. In the most left tab, the third line is a bin. goto that line and press the arrow to the right. Then you can chose what you want to delete. Only one picture, pictures with a certain date, a folder or even all pictures. it is in the English manual on page 101 and 102

Tv setting on my Canon G5 only produces blue

Sounds like an internal problem to me. If this is only happening in the TV mode then it could be that the camera is showing its age and starting to slowly malfunction. The G5 is a great camera but is now around ten years old. If all the other modes are fine then perhaps you should continue to use it but personally I'd get another camera because you may be shooting something important with it and it will decide to completely mess up the images.Hope this helps.

I lost the installation disk for my SD600. where

You may download some of the Canon software from http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/support/consumer/digital_cameras/powershot_sd_series/powershot_sd600#DriversAndSoftwareYou don't really need the Canon software. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

Canon power shot sd1000 won't connect to my computer anymore. The computer does not sense that there are pictures on the camera!

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

Battery wont charge

If the recharageable battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out. Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles and will lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% and gradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR The battery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the battery drops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to an unacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

My Canon powershot SD1000 screen isn't working. Iv'e charged the battery but when I turn the camera on, the screent is black. It won't take any pictures

It's very likely the CCD sensor that needs to be replaced. If you need to have it serviced, this place is excellent for the Powershots and not much at all if you need to have one fixed: www.camerasandparts.comBefore having it fixed, press the DISP button first and make sure you just didn't turn the display off. If you end up needing service for the Canon, that place above is really great for these cameras.
