My sony VAIO laptop keeps

sounds like the fan in your laptop is failing or is damaged, when you run graphic intensive applications and the fan turns on is that then you hear the noise if so it is your fan and you should see about getting it replaced because the components in your laptop will over heat and stop working.

You can uninstall the Vaio VSC Vaio survey program from the control panel>programs & features list. If you want to keep the survey program sony put on your system, but don't want it to run, remove it from the startup list.

Hi, I wrote my opinion to fixya, telling them that I do not think your ban is a good decision, and that I do not agree. In the past I have sent them three complains about your solutions, but I never asked or suggested any ban or similar measure.

I do not think my complains had influenced the decisions taken by fixya, but just in case I wrote them a message stating that the complains were not minimally suggesting such a measure as a ban.

by the way, if the ban had been determined only by bad solutions (I am sure more experts, including Ekse reported more abuse), then you can ask a reintegration promising them to improve the level of service.

I have a sony va10 vgn-f j270/b notebook.it has ethernet from an intellinet router. however it has no wifi connection.the control panel there is a red x with the 2 computer symbols with the statement

Have you checked to ensure the WiFi switch is turned on? The computer with the red X is typically to let you know that connection is off (or in the case of the port that there is no hardline). Basically the 2 computer are one hardline, one wifi. Make sure the WiFi switch is on. It is usually a physical switch on the front for Sony laptops.

First, please confirm that your laptop has Windows 8. If so, we need to know what password it is you have forgotten. Is it the password the one for Windows 8 where you have a mostly blue screen and a white box in the center for your password?

Device drivers

What OS are you running on your machine???

If your have XP installed then you can update the drivers from your device managernselectt device right click and update.
If you don't have the disk then let the wizard find the correct drivers for you,point the wizard at the c drive or search the internet with windows assistance.

Have yoiu had any updates upgrades or device changes???

This sometimes effects them too.
Remove & reinstall ist the only way sometimes,,,,,

A format may take care of this issue also so back up your stuff and start again

Cleaning the filter

Get a can of compressed air or an air compressor and clean out all the vents and fans. You can also use a vacuum with a hose attachment to clean it. You also might want to get a laptop cooler.

Black screen says multi(0) disk(0) rdisk(0) partition(2)\WINDOWS\system32

So far I see no problem. For some reason. you chose to boot Windows in safe mode. During that boot mode, the screen goes black and starts displaying lines of text detailling all the drivers it is loading. At the end of the process Windows will run in safe mode.Try rebooting normally or rebooting to the last good configuration that worked.If there are problems please be more specific.

My sony vaio vgn-cs36mj controller volume are not working

The button must be defectedYou will still be able to raise and lower the volume within windows. Seeing that this is a fairly new laptop and should be under warranty, you should contact Sony and they will give you the information how how to replace that component.
