Make sure your pritner is in network. You can check it with ping command. For that go to start menu->run or press windows key +R key so you can see run type in run "ping 192.168.1.1" then press enter where 192.168.1.1 assumes as printer ip. Then if you get reply from.. then it is in network but if you get request time out or destination host unreachable then it is not in nework. Make sure your printer ip and computer ip range is same. Make sure driver is working fine.Uninstall old driver then reinstall.Then check. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.

Go to lexmark.com and check if any downloads are available for your printer. More than likely there is not one for yours if Vista is your current program on your computer. Lexmark has not produced any updates for Vista as of yet and I do not see a future for it neither. Some web sites do have there own updates for drivers and charge for them I have found. You will need to include your computers model to see which you do not show in your question. If it was posted I would of made a check for you

Yes it can be installed without the CD, just download the installed from lexmark.com

Go to START and open ALL PROGRAMS - find LEXMARK - choose what you need to do - LEXMARK PRODUCTIVITY STUDIO (in my case - and perhaps in yours)

Take it to a certified technician.

If you have micosoft office, use the picture manager in the office tools section to modify the picture. You can resize the picture there. It should also give you a better view of the scanned image.

Hi! You may need to reset the printer, please try this. Unplug the printer from power source and press hold the power button for 10secs. while unplugged. Plug the printer again to power source and turn it on, this would reset the printer's system and can get your machine back to working. Hope this helps and have a good one!
