If everything is blank, I would suspect that you either have something blocking the nozzles or that the nozzles are clogged. If you are not using OEM cartridges, I would start with new OEM cartridges, run nozzle cleaning at least 3x or more to clear the nozzles until you get a clean test page.

Aftermarket/refilled cartridges do not always meet the manufacturer's specifications for quality. Try cartridges from LDproducts.com for your printer. I've never had a problem with their aftermarket cartridges.

First thing to do for this my friend is check the Microsoft Compatability Listing to see if your printer is supported.

Search 'Microsoft Copmpatability List' for a link.

If your printer is not listed, visit www.lexmark.com/support for a proper driver for 7. If they dont list your printer under 7, they dont support it either. You might find a 3rd party driver that will work.

If the OS and Lexmark dont support the printer, your options get real limited. Option one: hook your printer to a different computer that will run it (98/XP/Vista) and use it as a print server on your network. Option two: new printer.

I am having the same problem with my Lexmark 2500, I have found that i had to uninstall the printer and reinstall it again. But before yu reinstall, make sure you have the latest update for your printer. Then reinstall your printer, that should do the trick.

call Lexmark and they will send you the diver disks. There are 11 files that you need to make it work properly. Or search for the same on line but there are 9 of the 11 on line down loads.

I would start by looking at the actual data size of the file.

Next step, I would determine is the flow control between the printer and the PC is working correctly.

If the file is very large or intensive (lots of graphic images), I would break the file into several segments.

For example, pages one to five I would highlight and then do a "Save As" and name the new file as filename1.pdf.

Once the file is saved that way, I would move to page six and do a "Save As" filename6.PDF and so on until I have broken the file into more useful segments.

Forgive me for asking this, but roughly speaking about 80 to 95% of problems involving ink or toner are resolved by the following:
Are you using a factory new ink cartridge supplied by the manufacturer of the printer?
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridge that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead.

hmm basically make sure its your defualt printer on pc. try goign to control panel system hardware , device manager and removing the usb hub that the printer is pluged into by uninstalling it and restart pc. make sure its not only default printer in the software that runs the printer but also defualt printer in control panel and printer settings, try another usb port. hmm no more ideas . hope this helps

You may need to run the installation software that came with your new 5600 series machine.

1. On your computer, go to "Start," "Programs," "Lexmark Series." Click "Lexmark Control Program."
   
2. Step 2 Select the "Cartridges" tab. Click "Change Cartridges." The Change Cartridges screen appears, displaying the animated instructions for installing or changing cartridges. When you have finished viewing the animation, click the "Finished" button.
   
3. Step 3 Remove the tape covering the print head of the new print cartridge. Insert the new print cartridge as shown in the animation.
   
4. Step 4 When the "Choose Cartridges" screen appears, select the cartridge(s) you installed in your printer from the list boxes. Click the appropriate box to reset the ink levels to full. Click "OK."
   
5. Step 5 The Automatic Alignment screen appears. Click "Align" to align the print cartridges for best print quality. The printer prints a page with a bi-directional alignment pattern. On the printed test page, locate the number that comes closest to forming a straight line under the bi-directional alignment pattern. Enter that number as the bi-directional alignment setting in the Alignment Cartridge dialog box. Click "OK."
   

my laptops the hp g60 and got the sme problem, it doesnt even scan but the laptop is wifi certified.

Have you tried cleaning the feed rollers? Rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball should do the trick....if not, is it possible that the is some foreign material blocking your paper feed path? Please let me know.
