google asus probe and install it to check your voltages and temps. also look at your task manager to see what your cpu and memory loads are. with that sort of setup, things should be running pretty good. my guess is your temp is high.

My mobo is not booting no post

Test your PSU or replace it if your power supply units fan is not working your PSU is faulty

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect/ boot up a computer hard drive

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions,IDE,SATA

the leads from your "((MOTHERBOARD TO THE HARD DRIVE))" make sure they have a secure connection and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd 3 1/2 inch floppy have secure connections and are not faulty even the electrical extensions or just replace them they could be faulty a computer needs its connections to continue its cycle and have an end so any faulty leads will end up with a computer error hope this helps

Computer keeps crashing through crossfire

It is possiable that your PSU is not powerful enough to support the cards; or one is faulty. Try checking the specifications of the card, and get a PSU that is rater greater by a few hundred watts at least. If that is not the cae; check the bios to make sure that crossfire is enabled.

Hi, Hope you can help. I've just fitted a new

Hi. Asus has a great utility that lets you update your bios even in Windows.

http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=EIDxaW1Ln3YR9RA2

At the download section select your OS and in Utility section find "ASUS Update V7.14.01 Install Program" This program will automatically update your bios.

As for your Ram issue. Did you try each stick in each ram slots ? If you did and saw no issues, then I am only suspescting of incompability between your Rams.

Sometimes it turn on but it doesnt boot at all

CPU init is CPU initialisation as you guessed. It should pass extremely quickly however, I'm talking under a second.
The fact that it isn't, or is only passing sometimes, indicates a CPU or Motherboard fault.
Make sure you have the 4 or 8 pin cpu power connector properly plugged into the motherboard.

Installed Crosshair MB in new case. Motherboard

Make sure that the motherboard LED switch on the back panel is set to off and if want to turn it on go into bios and set it. If it is active thru switch and not thru motherboard bios it will not allow you to turn on PC cause it is in maintenance mode.

Procesor speed

Well, I would start by going to the ASUS web page and look up your specific motherboard. Here is the link right to the board---

http://usa.asus.com/products.aspx?l1=3&l2=117&l3=0&l4=0&model=1283&modelmenu=2

the specs listed at ASUS's site don't say specifically"how many Gz processor can my mothereboard suport" although they will point you in the right direction. Open up the site on a seperate internet page if you haven't already and look at if for me. Do you notice where it mentions the Socket types that it supports in the CPU section?? Basically the page is telling you what type of processors it will run. I believe the Athlon 64 x2 is the fastest out of what they have listed, although i did not look up the specs. You should be safe buying any speed Athlon 64 x2, Athlon 64 FX, Athlon 64 or Sempron processor. Hope that this was helpful, if it was could you please give me a good review? Thanks.
