ASUS P5VD2-MX SE Motherboard Questions & Answers
ASUS P5VD2-MX SE recognizes only up to 2500MB RAM
Hi,
Actually you are doing better than you think, According to your MB specs it is only supposed to hold a max of 2GB (1GB per slot). The updated BIOS may be allowing for the additional 500MB.
If you would like to verify, here is a link to the manual for your MB:
P5VD2-MX SE Manual
See page viii.

No sound
Hi there,
Do you still have the CD for your motherboard? You can install the sound drivers from there or you can download it from
Asus Support website.
Hope this helps.
Problem solved but now something else!!!
Your system might have attacked with some virus/spyware due to that it is not letting you to access internet .. please scan your system with good updated antiivirus & anti spyware...
delete the virus/spyware which is detected ...
or you can also just format the drive containing the operating system and you can reinstall the sp2 by the boot cd ..
