What does plate tectonic theory mean

Plate tectonics is the theory that Earth's outer shell is divided into several plates that glide over the mantle, the rocky inner layer above the core. The plates act like a hard and rigid shell compared to Earth's mantle.

Every thing looks us-side down?

All reflector-style telescopes generate an "up-side-down" image. This is normal. (Remember, there is no up or down in space!) You can, however, buy an erecting prism for terrestrial viewing.

I have a dobsonion 306 mm reflecting telescope it is perfectly collimated but whenI observe a planet (currently Jupiter)I am getting mutiple images on both sides of the main image. The mirror is 15

If you are satisfied it is well collimated, then:- did you use a laser collimator? If so is THAT collimated? Lots of them are not.- check all the adapter rings, diagonals, barlows etc that you might have are all properly seated- then, I'd say your main mirror securing clips are done up too tight and are distorting the mirror. They should only just touch lightly.

Need cd for the astrolon telescope 402 power

I have the 402 power astrolon telescope (item 36755), with the wooden tripod. I have the manual and the original CD (there's probably a more updated version--I've had this for approx. 10 yrs.). As for the manual, if you haven't found one, I'll make a copy and send it to you (it's only 6 small pages). Also, their customer service number is
800-637-3455. Hope this helps.

What is the definition of ozone

Ozone is an allotrope (a different form) of oxygen, having three atoms of oxygen instead of the more usual two.It is formed from normal oxygen in the upper atmosphere by ultraviolet light, and is about 0.6 parts per million of the atmosphere. It is a toxic, pale blue, explosive gas at ground level, considered a pollutant in smog, but eventually breaks down to normal oxygen. It is beneficial in the upper atmosphere where it belongs.
