I brought my makita to
If there is a way to get the case open, you can check, but I don't think there is. Those things are pretty finicky and running them at 220 volts just doesn't help , even with the adapters. We went over to Spain to build a house a few years ago and they warned us, no cordless tools. Everything we brought over there was air powered or run off our own generator. So, I think you may have fried your charger, all it is is a transformer that turns the 110 volts ac into 12, 14, 18 volts dc, whatever the batteries are. You know what they do have inside there, and I think you might have blown it, is a transistor, they are little tiny things, I don't know what they do, but the are soldered in the line, and they can be bought at radio shack type places. If you can get that case apart, most are glued, see if the transistor is there, it will be no good, just match it up, solder in a new one, you might be working again. Not sure about this, but worth a try. Hope this helps.
