lamp light green is a normal code. Try turning set on 3 times and see if lamp light goes red. If it does you have a bad lamp. Also check to see if lamp is on all the time. This a problem that can happen and service tech needs to fix it. Let me know what happens.
Volume turns on and no picture
Hello:
Depending upon your model, Mitsubishi did have a factory recall on some of their DLP TVs with a lamp cooling related issue (a faulty thermal sensor). This repair is covered by Mitsubishi if your model is one of those with the known issue.

Dark spot
some of thease have round doors on the sides tward the top, there held on by 1 screw, take that off( if you do it while the tv is on, you will see it better, you can reach in there with a soft cloth, or swiffer sweeper, if it doesnt have those doors, then you will need to take the screws out around the screen , from the back, then you can lean the screen forward about 6 inches, reach in there with a duster and wipe the dust off
I have a Mitsubishi WD-65731,
You need to have the servicer check and re-seat all the connections to the light engine. It is also possible that the new engine may be at fault.
Color/Pic problems Mits WD-65731
it sounds as though there is a problem on the main board and yes,it will be expensive to repair.i would guess between 400 to 600 possibly more depending on how much damage is on the main board. i know this isnt what you want to hear but i have a friend that has a tv repair shop and i know he gets big money for repairs on big screens.

My tv blinks 6x red and 1x yellow. whats that mean?
Those blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

If blinks continue without any pause, or the LED light stationery; the main board is faulty.
