hi try pressing the clear key if that don't work than reset the calculator by pressing the reset button or remove the the batteries from it for one minute than put it in amd press the clear button and you should go to go however you may to check and change certain setting lile the degree setting i.e. radians to degree and fix to floating notation and other important setting as well. On calculators you do not usually get percents. Instead, you get values which can be converted to a percent. For example what percent is 245 out of 987. You divide 245/987=.248. This is essentially the same as saying 24.8 percent. You move the decimal over 2 values. You can also round to get a nice percent number such as 25 percent.
If you are trying to put in a percent lets say you have to find 47% of 80. You just multiply .47 * 80= 38.4

Press 2nd and then LOG.. This should help

I tried blowing compressed air with a computer air duster into the I/O port. I do not know what this does but, it REALLY WORKS!!! My daughters TI-84 Plus Silver Edition is working fine.

Set the Real/Complex mode to COMPLEX. (rectangular coordinates). See the screen captures that follow.

If the ENTER button is defective you cannot use the calculator. Have it repaired.

You're probably trying to graph a function that does not involve stat plot features. You can correct this by turning off the stat plot features. Press "2ND" "STAT PLOT" and then select 4:PlotsOff.

The command line is full. Use the left arrow key to clear the command line. Then erase all previous entries, or reset the RAM

Depends on what you are trying to reset. If you want to reset the memory then turn on the calculator, press second button then the +. Memory will come up at the top. Go to number 7 where it says reset. Then you have two choices reset the ram or defaults.
