Sennheiser RS 110 Consumer Headphones - Page 2 Questions & Answers
The sound keeps breaking up the green light goes
I know this is a bit late but i had the same issues with my unit. turns out if you listen with the source volume really low the headphones cant detect sound so they shut off. you fix this by simply adding more volume from the source and then just decrease volume on the actual headphones to obtain desired listening level and say goodbye to this issue.
My television does not have
You cannot hear the audio from the DVD player because your headphones are connected directly into the cable box. I'm assuming that your DVD does not route through your cable box, thus the audio has no way of getting to your RS 110's. Also, changing the channel on the TV has no effect on the cable box, thus it won't alter than audio.
What you need to do:
- Look on the cable box to see if there is an option for AUDIO in (should be a pair of red and white RCA plugs)
- You want to run an RCA cable from the AUDIO OUT of the DVD player to the AUDIO IN of the cable box
- Then select the Auxillary input from the cable box and you should be able to hear the DVD
Alternatively you can run both DVD audio and video through the cable box
- Look for DVD IN on the cable box
- Connect the audio/video cables from the DVD player to the cable box
- To watch a DVD, switch to the DVD input on the cable box
Alternatively you can run the cable box through the DVD player
- There may be inputs for AUDIO and VIDEO in on the back of the DVD player
- You want to connect the outputs of the Cable box into the back of the DVD player
- You can then select the input on the DVD player to control whether you see/hear the cable or DVD

- The wiring has disconnected inside your headphones. They will not work unless you have someone re-wire the headphones for you. This happens after time with most headphones.

My wireless headphones no reception
Check the batteries in the head phones, check to see if they are switched to the samechannel that your transmitter is on. In many of the wireless headphones there are 3 or more channels that you can switch to in case your neighbor has the same unit.
Turns itself off every 5

No sound to ipod. connect
Hello,
you can still make attempts, but its obvious that this particular head phone cannot work with your ipod, maybe because of incompatibility issues. I'm sure there is nothing wrong with either the headphone not the ipod.
Its good for you to return it and this time, take your ipod along with you to the store, so that you can test the ipod with any other headphone you will be exchanging the previous one with.
I hope you understand my explanations.
Good luck.
HAVE NEW SET OF hEAD pHONE CANNOT PULL A SIGNAL IN STATIC THERE BUT FAINT...
Make sure you are connecting to the OUTPUT section and not the input, look in the back of the television it should say output and have its own red and white pluga, if you connect the red and white cables to the input section on the front of the television or on the section on the back that says input you will not get any reception make sure you are connecting to the output
Unable to listen to my wireless
They need a minimum level of signal to switch on the transmitter.
Verify if it works on yet another system.
Make sure you have the right output on your Samsung.
Try to increase the output level of your Samsung...(up the volume, but it may be a fixed output..)
Sennheiser RS 175 TV headset has green lit power light blinks on and off. And headset doesnt have any volume. Help!
If your Sennheiser RS 175 TV headset has a green lit power light that blinks on and off and doesn't have any volume, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
- Check the batteries: Ensure that the batteries are charged and inserted correctly into the headset. You may also want to try replacing the batteries with fresh ones.
- Check the audio source: Make sure that the audio source is turned on and the volume is turned up. You may also want to try connecting the headset to a different audio source to see if the problem is with the source.
- Check the audio cable: If you are using an audio cable to connect the headset to the audio source, make sure that it is plugged in securely at both ends.
- Reset the headset: Try resetting the headset by turning it off, unplugging the transmitter from the power source, waiting for a few minutes, and then plugging the transmitter back in and turning the headset on again.
- Check for interference: Make sure that the transmitter and headset are not too far apart or obstructed by walls or other objects. Also, ensure that there are no other devices nearby that may be causing interference.
If none of these troubleshooting steps work, you may need to contact Sennheiser customer support or take the headset in for repair.
HOW DO I CONNECT MY SENNHEISER RS 120 HEADPHONES TO MY LG UHD TV MODEL 55UK63
Hello Mike, your LG TV, does not have a headphone output, it only has optical fiber audio output
the options that I suggest are,
1) Connect the optical fiber output of the LG, to an AV receiver, that has said input and place the headphones in this equipment,
2) Buy an optical fiber to audio converter by RCA L and R and this is connected to a headphone amplifier
I send you links to the products that are sold in my country
I hope you solve your concern
