One side of the headphones

Well the good news is, it's not your ipod.. It's the wiring inside of the headphones. I suggest that you either return them for a new pair, or buy a new pair.

Headphone wire cut can it be spliced back together sennheiser pxc

It rather depends where the break is. If it is one of the single strands, near to the headphones, you might be better replacing the entire cable. If this is the case you will need to remove the foam pads and then you should see access screws to get inside and solder the new leads on.
If lower down in the twin cable part, then you can cut it off before the break and solder a new 3.5mm plug on. The two coloured wires in the cable fit on the small lugs of the plug (you will have to work out which is left or right, by trying them on each lug. The other wires are earths, which fit together on the large metal flange. The T piece part of the large flange grips the black cable, to stop it pulling out. PS make certain you put the plastic body cover of the plug on the wire before soldering on the plug. That you just slide it back on the plug. Make certain the wires on the plug don't touch the earths and also the left and right don't short.
Once you have the plug on, you can buy an extension cable for headphones. This will make it long enough to use.

Hi, could you please provides a circuitry diagram

Looking at them from the picture provided by FixYa, I rather think there's no circuitry involved! It looks like the wires go into two speakers. As you don't say what the fault is then I will guess a few things for you and some solutions.
1 One side dead - fault in plug or cable or speaker.
2 Cutting out - faulty cable or plug.
3 No sound - faulty cable or plug.
If you need to get to the speaker, remove the pad, remove foam (force it if it won't come off, glue on when finished). You should see screws then.
You should be able to get a new cable/plug from any good electrical parts shop such as Maplin or RadioShack. You will probably need to contact the maker for a new speaker.

Replacement connector for Sennheiser PX 250 doesn't work...

The bare copper conductor wire is the screening/common earth to the two signal wires of green and red. The important connection is the copper wire which goes to the jack plug earth which is the section furthest from the tip. The other two are the left and right signal connections. If you get these the wrong way round you will just have to swap them over. Check if they are the right way round by using the balance control on your amplifier or whatever. Have you checked that the problem is not with the headphone amplifier within your equipment? Don't rely on OK sound from loudspeakers as the headphones may be fed from separate op-amp output chip. Try another pair of cheap and cheerful headphones to make sure.

PXC250 headphone cable ripped out from electronics box

bugmenot1.jpg
here is the schematic showing where the wires go. the thick copper is the copper that goes around the rest of the wires. it is not neat like the other wires, but lots of single strands. if you are missing some wires, cut 3 centimeter or so of the lead, the wires missing are probably broken further up the lead.
Getting the solder to wet these wires are notoriously difficult. For me the flux inside the solderingwire was not helping, so i took a match, burned of the lacquer of the end 5mm of each wire, scraped the soot of with a knife, and put flux from a box onto the wire. Then i got the solder to wet the wire. Do this with all the ends of the loose wires. Then solder them to the green board as instructed on the the schematic (it is the top of the two drawings that you want to use).

Be careful not to overheat the PCB. make the solder wet the fire first, then solder the wire to the PCB (green board)

Replacing headphone connector

My jack plug lead got yanked and broke the wires inside the electronics unit. There are three screws to undo in order to get inside the electronics, one by the cable entry and two very small cross head scvrews in deep holes halfway along the unit. I cut the jack lead on the outside close to the cable entry and drilled out the hole through the cable guide and then poked the jack cable back through the hole into the electronic unit. I was able to solder the three leads to their respective pads. There are five solder pads next to the cable entry. With the cable entry at the top, the middle pad connects to the green cable, the rightmost pad connects to the red cable and the copper connects to a pad about 1 cm down from the rightmost connector. The technique was to tin the ends of the leads with solder before soldering them to the pads. I used a blob of glue from a glue gun to hold the cable in place inside the electronics unit. My plan B if the soldering was not possible was to take a jack plug and lead from an unused set of earpieces and use that lead in place of the original. It would have been much more difficult to replace the lead from the electronics unit to the headset.

Sennheiser RS 175 TV headset has green lit power light blinks on and off. And headset doesnt have any volume. Help!

If your Sennheiser RS 175 TV headset has a green lit power light that blinks on and off and doesn't have any volume, here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
  1. Check the batteries: Ensure that the batteries are charged and inserted correctly into the headset. You may also want to try replacing the batteries with fresh ones.
  2. Check the audio source: Make sure that the audio source is turned on and the volume is turned up. You may also want to try connecting the headset to a different audio source to see if the problem is with the source.
  3. Check the audio cable: If you are using an audio cable to connect the headset to the audio source, make sure that it is plugged in securely at both ends.
  4. Reset the headset: Try resetting the headset by turning it off, unplugging the transmitter from the power source, waiting for a few minutes, and then plugging the transmitter back in and turning the headset on again.
  5. Check for interference: Make sure that the transmitter and headset are not too far apart or obstructed by walls or other objects. Also, ensure that there are no other devices nearby that may be causing interference.
If none of these troubleshooting steps work, you may need to contact Sennheiser customer support or take the headset in for repair.
