Alpine CDA-9883 CD Player - Answered Questions & Fixed issues
What is the mx mean on radio and how do i go into this function
Here's a great explanation of the mx feature from a review of the alpine decks... "Media Xpander (MX) is a great feature. If you
listen to lots of MP3s, you know the quality on some can leave a bit to
be desired. Media Xpander helps compensate by adding bass and tone to
your files. And you can control the level of ‘help’ you want (from 1-3,
mine sits at 2 except for the worst discs). Even my worst bootlegs
come out sounding pretty decent – and you can use it on both CDs and FM
radio." hope that helps you put it to good use!

Cda 9883 - no sound
Check for blown fuses behind the deck and under the hood, sometimes by the battery, you may get lucky but you could have smoked the unit, and would not know anything unless you send it in to get fixed. Replacing the unit could be the answer Alpine CDA-9883 CD Player
