Picture fine, but no sound !!

Un-mute sound. Be sure speakers are not turned OFF. Go to settings menu, audio, then check the speaker settings. When used with a separate stereo, or surround sound system, the speakers need to be OFF. When used in a stand alone mode, they need to be turned ON. Someone may have turned them OFF in the audio settings. That's the easy fix. If there is something wrong with the on-board amplifier, the problem gets harder. Regards.

Mitsubishi tv flashes yellow light

IT might not have been the bulb, it could be the ballast, it could be the power supply. The other things that it might be are the fan, the temp sensor or a bad bulb.

My mitsubishi wd 52361 had loud pop too but everything still works..what gives? is it dangerous like a fire hazard

The plastic housing of your set could have popped from tempature. If the set is still working, you should be fine. . . although keep your nose in working order, just in case.

I have a mitsubishi wd-52631 and the red light is solid I just cleaned out the tv and got a new bulb but when I turn the tv on I get about 2 mins of picture and sound before it turns off. Does any one

It is possible either did not get all the dirty areas in front, and rear of set cleaned out or even that the ballast for the unit is this problem since it powers the lamp---lamp will come on and then turn off for a number of reasons. The set does have a self diagnostic feature which usually is:Mitsubishi TVtroubleshootingHere's something that might also be useful. After you turn on the set, and getthe regular red blinky lights, hold down the Device and Menu buttons togetherfor about 5 seconds. The Power light will start to flash in a two digit sequence. For example, 3 flashes, then 7 flashes = 37.Here are the error codes, and the corresponding problem:12 = No error detected, check power supply.32 = Lamp Cover is open.33 = Air filtercover is open.34 = Lamp abnormality36 = Light Engine (DMD or Lamp Fan stopped)37 = Exhaust or Lamp Ballast Fan stopped38 = Lamp Temperature High39 = DMD Temperature High41 = Short is detected44 = DVI cablebetween FMT and Engine disconnected

Wd 52631 thermistor part number?

Are you looking for one in the power supply? All these parts have a location number on the board where they are located---should be easy to Google the location and model number to get what you want.
