Need unlock code for Kenwood model KDC-MP435u headunit

Kenwood may be able to give you the code via the serial number. You may be able to enter it with a combination of the switches. It may also have a "default code" Kenwood may want to see a bill of sale...not sure.

I'm trying to use aux to play music from my phone, a galaxy s4, I bought a 3.5 mm cord, and I figured out how to turn aux on, but the music won't play, only from my phone, any suggestions?

It may be a case of using a Preamp device in line. You may not have sufficient line current to move the audio from the phone to the aux.

What is the wiring diagram

Scroll down to page 15 on this link i gave you. If you removed the factory stereo, don't throw away the connector that plugs in to the back of the factory radio. Go to wal mart or any car audio install shop and buy yourself the wiring harness for your particular model car and year, it will definitely save you a headache due to the fact that some car wiring systems are wired differently and are somewhat complicated at times. http://manual.kenwood.com/files/B64-3691-00_00.pdf

How do you hook up

You will need a 3.5mm mini to mini cable (available at any good car audio store for between $10-20. Plug that into the headphone jack on your ipod and then into the aux input on your stereo. Then select aux-in as the source on your Kenwood. Now play the music on your ipod at about 3/4 volume on the iPod.

How to work auxiliary on

What you need to do is this:
1. Make sure your player is in the mode Standby. Or "STBY" is what I think it sais.
2. Hold down the menu button until "MENU" Pops up.
3. IMPORTANT: Push DOWN on the right stick to go to different options. One should be AUH. This is the option for Auxillary. By pushing right on the right control stick type thing, you should be able to turn it on.
4. Place the radio back in STBY mode. No push the "SRC' or source button to switch between your sources. AUH should be one of them.
5. Plug in your Aux cable and rock out to the MP3 player of your choice.
Normally I don't comment on threads such as these, but I've spent a long time figuring it out, and I thought I'd shared it with others. Hope you find this helpful.

Is a kenwood kdc 135 have a aux. for ipod

Look on the back to see if there is an auxilary socket plus on the front of the unit, is there an aux button to allow an input from an auxilary device. If you dont have a manual I would go to Kenwoods web site and enter in the model and see if you can download a user manual.

Cant get the radio to

there is a power lead that must be attached to a power source that is on regardless of the key being on or off.

Most likely the memory power wire is hooked up to a switch power feed. Change it to one that is hot all the time and you should be good. Btw, I’m available to help over the phone in case u need at https://www.6ya.com/expert/sean_54c3a3dc48a7773c
