GN 9350 Headset won't charge, blue light remains off

Unplug the unit, then take the ear piece and slide the battery off .... When you have the battery detached from the ear piece, wipe off the metal prongs, leave it off for a few minutes, then put back together. Make sure you plug the unit back in. It will take a couple hours for the unit to be charged. That should take care of the issue.

It would be nice to know what headset you are talking about. They are all different, and a generic question such as this can't give you anything more than a generic answer. I would take it back to wherever you purchased it and get them to check it out. Sorry, but that is about the best answer anyone can give you with so little information to go on.

How to make a GN 9350 unit work with Windows 7?

Skip dealing with it. You don't need the $110 BS "upgrade" as this is a driver issue. Jabra could very well have provided a downloadable and install-able driver for the GN 9350 that would work perfectly, and tell windows not to use the unsigned USB driver in the headset firmware.Fortunately there is a quick-fix workaround... it is only a little bit of a pain (and proof that their $110 firmware upgrade is not necessary). When you want to use the jabra with Win7:1. Plug it into your computer via USB.2. Go to your playback devices menu (right-click the speaker icon in the system-tray)3. Set the GN 9350 as the default device for recording and playback.(right-click, and test, should error (couln't play test tone)4. unplug the power to the reciever/base.5. wait 10 seconds.6. plug it back in.7. may need to set it as the default again, but you should be good for a while, just don't switch back and forth too much between computer and phone.

At least once a day

Hello,

This is a recap of our conversation. I am sorry to say, that based on our conversation and going through your problem with your head, unfortunately there is not always a easy fix. Your problem with the now and then of getting non functioning microphone working, is a electronic problem internal, this is because there are chips inside inside and like all electron components they ware out. In your case I believe the circuit is over heating and sense you tried this on other computers, and it is doing the same thing at least once a day, and only way to get it working again tempary is to turn off or reboot system, is not because there is anything wrong with your computer. What is happening, the circuit is overheating ( the chip) and so during the few minutes that your system is rebooting, gave it just enough time to cool to function normally again for while. The solution and only solution on my research and experience is, you have to take unit in to a good electronic repair shop, and they would have to open it up, and locate that circuit ( which will be a type of output circuit) and replace it. I also warned of the cost of having a repair place do this might not justify the fact of maybe investing in another. ( have to weigh the difference) my final recommendation is that some times, if you are nice and write a professional letter to the company, and brag about how much you love there set and is not operating properly, that a lot of times they will send out a new one for free, or they will at no charge, have you send it in, and repair it at no charge. That is worth just a letter, or second choice is a phone call. Letters seem to be more effective when it comes to them coming to the table.

Conclusion: You stated you were not completely satisfied with my conclusion on the solution, I explained that some times the only solution is to have it repaired at a service repair shop, or even replaced. Not all the time we can help with customer just pushing a few buttons to solve the problem. Unfortunately your problem is a internal electronic issue. Thank You, let me know if i can help anymore, Mike

Headset button will not lift receiver unless ringing

You should be able to press the button on the headset as many times as you like and the lifter will respond, whether the phone is ringing or not
