Washer wont spin
Sounds as though the idler on the back of the machine is seized.Remove the back panel and possibly free it up or replace it.
The door wont lock and the buttons wont work
Morgan,
1. unplug machine and let it reset. I spoke with a parts supplier who set it could take up to 3 hrs.
2. this was our fix - check door latch. it needs to send a closed signal to operate. un plug machine - remove top - i would try to lightly spray switch with WD-40 - plug in and try it. if it does't work -unplug it again -replace switch . If WD-40 works I would pick up a switch it is only a matter of time for that switch.
I hope that does it.

FOUR HOURS TO WASH TOWELS
That is not normal. Have the control circuit board tested for continuity. Either the cycle or timer section is out of wack and may need replacing.
Tub doesn't spin at all, sounds like it is trying
Two schools of thought here. 1st. the belt has slipped off the retention pulley. 2nd the belt has broken. Pull out the machine, unplug then remove back lower panel look under the drum to see the belt and pulley.
Error message E1
it means there is water leakage in hose connections or there is damage to the hose that results in water spilling or leaking.Your observation to the washer's inside is needed to confirm the leak and solve.check this link
Leaking machine
Whirlpool front loader WF665/1 spilling water during cycle
that means that the water is leaking from the hows at the back of the detergent drawer.
This is not a difficult fix, however the washing machine must be taken apart to access the detergent hose and find the leak.
Always better to call a technician.
Getting a "te" error code -- a heating issue?
I had the tE or te error (an L with a line through it) error on my LG front loader and my local appliance store sold me the thermistor for $7. I layed the unit on its side and accessed the thermistor through the bottom. It plugs into the bottom of the tank. Blue and white wires. No screws and 1 tie-wrap. (Leave the rubber grommet in - just pull the thermistor rod out.) Works like a champ!
I get error FE- book
FE error means that the water is filling past it's set point. You may have a broken water valve that won't shut off when it's in the filling mode. You can check by running the washer and watching the water fill. If the water level fills above the bottom of the glass, you have a water valve that's not shutting off. Replace the water valve.
We have a LG washer,
Hi
This issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged
drain filter or drain pump. First make sure that the drain is not clogged and
remove clogs if present. If no visible lint is present then remove the lower
front access panel to check the drain filter and drain pump for any clogs,
you'll need to clean the drain filter and drain pump completely. Hope this
helps... Please post back for any further assistance.
