Haier troubleshooting
Does it have cooling coils in the back... or underneath... that might need to be cleaned and vacuumed out???. That is a common problem.. Another thing, check to see if the door is sealing properly.. The next suspect might be the temperature adjustment mechanism that you've been adjusting..
Freezer stopped freezing. food started getting
Hello,
Fan problem is one of the most common reasons for the freezer to start failing, this
is called "frost free failure." Ice can build up on the evaporator coils
over time, and this ice builds up until it starts blocking the fan. The
fan is responsible for circulating cold air throughout the freezer, so
if it is blocked the freezer will not be able to freeze any food. You
can usually check this by removing an access panel in the back of the
freezer to inspect the coils. If ice is built up on the coils, a
hairdryer can assist in defrosting them.
It's also possible that
the fan is not running at all. If the fan is burned out or the motor
isn't running, cold air can't circulate through the freezer and
everything will melt. You can normally hear the fan motor switch on and
off from time to time. Listen for it and if you can't hear it coming on
for an extended period of time, the motor may need repair or
replacement. The wires connecting to the fan may be the problem,
preventing the fan from receiving electricity.
Several other problems could be keeping your freezer from freezing:
There
could be leaks in one or several of the hoses in the refrigerator,
which results in the cold air being lost instead of circulating properly
throughout the fridge and freezer.
If you have the freezer so
full that the cold air can't circulate, your food will thaw even though
the freezer isn't malfunctioning. Always leave some space open in the
freezer and try to not store food right up against the cooling vents.
The
thermostat might have shorted out, which means the freezer can't
accurately determine how cold it is. If this is the case, the
refrigerator would probably not be working, either.
If your
defrost drain becomes clogged, the water in the line will just refreeze
over and over again, which could damage the lines as well as the fan.
Always check the drain and make sure no sludge is building up in it if
you have a self-defrosting refrigerator.
Always try to keep the
freezer door closed for long periods of time. The more the door is
opened, the more warm air is let in and cold air is released. If the
door is opened frequently, the freezer could be warming faster than the
fridge can cool it, which will thaw your food.
Good luck.
My freezer stop working and it was fairly new. i

Hello,
There is a coil in the compressor which is making the compressor pump gas into the pipe thereby making the freezer cool. If this coil gets burnt, the compressor won't pump gas and the freezer won't get cold.
If the compressor is defective, and you don't have money to buy another one, you can open up the compressor, remove the coil and get it recoiled, then replace it back into the compressor.
There are two or more reasons that can cause this problem.
1. it is either the gas in the compressor has leaked when the freezer was being moved or 2. the pipe that run from the compressor to the freezer might be leaking.
So, turn on the freezer, look at the back, observe the pipe that runs from the compressor to the freezer.
Lastly, the thermostat can be a problem sometimes. The Thermostat might have been reduced to the lowest level unknowingly to you. Check the thermostat make sure it is increased to the highest as this will increase the temperature and make the freezer cool.
Good luck.
It seems the my freezer
I would unplug it and leave it set level. When you tilt it some of the oil in the compressor can get up into the upper pare. in some cases if the motor can't move it will either burn up or burn out the starting capacitor or coil. Plug it in again the next day and see what happens. Small freezers may take a long time to cool down and they need something in them to cool. Put pans of water or something in it and see if it will get cold enough to freeze them
How do i defrost?
You have to remove all the food to a good ice chest with no ice. Pack it as full as you can before starting another one. You may need to put some in your refrigerator freezer. It will stay frozen for several hours while you melt the ice in the chest freezer. You can direct a fan blowing into it to speed up the melting. If it doesn't have a drain to catch the water in a tub you'll have to soak the water up in a towel etc. Don't chip at the ice to break it up quicker. You can damage the refrigeration coils.

We experienced a Sevrer Thunder Storm in our City

THANK YOU
SIDES OF THE FREEZER ARE WARM
From what you describe it sounds as though the condensation heaters in the door frame are on perhaps too much. find the switch if there is one and turn it off to see if that stops the heating and if so, you may have a bad thermostat for the condensation heater.
Both lights were on but was warm inside/food spoiled
I am not sure what exactly you are asking but is your circulating fan working?
Sometimes they stick and need a shot of WD 40 and then work
it back and forth a little until it wants to take off again. Keep me informed
and PLEASE give a Thumbs Up for the effort. The Raz Shack
HAVE TO CLICK ON BY HAND TO MAKE RUN
Make sure the temprature sensing bulb/tube is clipped into place properly. If it is in place correctly, then replace the temprature control assembly. Be careful not to kink or make sharp bends in the tubing between the temp. control switch and the sensing bulb when installing and routing the new one.
