Bosch Nexxt 100 series front load washer

You first of all need to check the pump filter.
This should be located at the botom front right of washer.
Look for a drop down flap or cover, once located, unscrew filter anti-clockwise to remove and clean.

The pump itself is directly behind the filter housing, check there is nothing stuck in the housing.
This should solve the prob.
Please leave feedback for my solution.
Thankyou.

I am not a repair professional. I am a 78 year old man who has been making his own repairs for about 50 years. So the washer or dryer ID doesn't mean much to me. I came to fixya looking for a schematic for an really old AM/FM radio and just happened to see that more than 4,700 people were asking for help with a washer repair. I recently had a washer repair of my own and at that time I found an excellent video which showed me how to take my machine apart. This video made it possible for me to do my own repair. If you are repairing a dryer, a front load washer, or a dishwasher, I suggest you
go directly to www.applianceaid.com where they have very good step by step trouble shooting and repair information on both washers and dryers as well as many other appliances. If you have a direct drive top load washer and need help taking it apart this video is an early christmas present. I was so impressed with it that when I saw all these people needing help, I wanted to tell them about it. If you look at the back of your washer and the panel is solid (no small inspection plate to remove which would indicate you have a v-belt drive) chances are you have a direct drive and this video is just what you need. You can see it at www.acmehowto.com You will probably still need help in determining what the trouble is and how to fix it. After viewing the video or if you have a v-belt drive rather than a direct drive, I suggest you go to www.applianceaid.com where they have very good trouble shooting and repair nformation on most washers and dryers, dishwashers and many other household appliances. I think you'll find what you need there. Don't worry about the timer on a washer, they hardly ever go bad. I realize I haven't solved your problem for you, but I hope I have sent you to a place that will help you solve the problem. Good luck with it.

I have a bosch washer about 3 years old. It

It does sound like the problem is related to the water pump.
The filter should be located at the bottom front right of washer, sometimes behind a removeable cover.
Locate filter, and remove by turning anti-clockwise, and clean, check inside the filter housing for anything in there as well.
Hope this helps.

Showing C L on screen

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. CL means child lock, it might have got locked. Try pressing "dry" & "spin" together for a 10 seconds or until the CL disappears. Also try pressing "end of cycle" for over 5 seconds.

If this doesn't work then try pressing "options & select" till the light goes off.

Please do rate the solution and revert for further assistance.

Thanks

The drum on my bosch wfmc1001uc won't spin but it

draining has nothing to do with spinning.

open the back of your machine and you can see the mechanical parts of your washing machine

try to turn it ON , just keep a distance enough for you to see,

1. check the belt if it is attached and aligned (if loose, tighten it a little bit)
2. check if the motor is running ( if not, check the capacitor-small aluminum tube with wires) if busted replace it.

3. check if there is any hamming sound from the motor, if make a humming sound but does'nt rotate, take it out and bring it to machine shop to replace the bearing or bushing

I have a BOSCH front load washer that I've had

Hello,

Out of curiosity, have you tried to access the pump and check for obstuctions such as clothing items like socks, underwear, coins, buttons, jewelry etc. ? How about the drain hose, is it straight and clear, not kinked or clogged ?

Also out of curiosity, what sort of on going issues have you had ? You stated "had nothing but trouble". Just wondering, as these are actually very good machines when used properly and serviced correctly. If however, they are serviced by one not qualified, it can appear as "nothing but trouble" yet the unit was not serviced correctly from the start.

I Digress,

You can get to it through the door at the lower right corner on the front, turn it counter-clockwise a quarter turn and pull out,(there is a small hole to insert a narrow screw driver or something to allow leverage to turn it) it should come off, Be very careful of the edges once it's removed, they are very sharp. Once removed you'll find the pump filter, it unscrews which allows for visual inspection of any blockages.

If that doesn't seem to be the problem, it could be improper loading, improper detergent, (must use "HE" lo-sudsing detergents in these) or ultimately a motor and control problem, although that is much less likely. Any of these things will manifest into the washer not spinning to it's full potential and consiquently your items will be soaked.

As I alluded to previously, I see a lot of those parts and other services performed and replaced needlessly.

hope that helps to get you fixed up, let me know and I'd be glad to help further if neccessary.

Good luck.

macmarkus :)

Bosch washer WFMC2201UC/15 has E13 error and will not fill

Hi  hartselectri,

Check the drain hoses and pump That code is for a longer than normal drain if it did not drain it would not let you open the door, You need to clean the filter. Remove the circular panel on the front right put a little screw driver in the hole and twist the access panel will pop off. Then you will need to twist the handle of the filter and pull it out you will find what is stopping the unit from draining in there very common. Also have a lot of towels handy all the water in the unit will come out when you pull the filter.

R.K.

Can't get rid of odor on clothes and washer

in order to get the odor out of the clothes, you first have to fix the washer. it is likely a build up of soap scum which is smelling. are you using the correct soap for you front loader? HE soap. there is a product on the market called Afresh, a package of 3 tablets. buy some and use all 3 in the machine and run it empty. then follow the directions on the pack for monthly maintenance.

Get the back off it ... look for the fan. See if it is broken: See if you can spin it by hand. Will the motor run it?

Yes broken? Go to repairclinic.com and get a replacement.

not broken? go look for a reason that your machine cannot breath - Id suspect a clog somewhere.

Let me know what happens please.

Hi. I have a bosche front loader. At the moment

If,like most people, you are washing at 30-40c there may be a scum build up between the drums. This can be cured by doing several 90c washes to clean it out.Bosch themselves call this a maintenance wash.
