If you used the 2 plug nissan radio harness, there should be a blue wire on there which is the (power antenna) even if your car doesn't have a power antenna, this wire needs to be connect to power on the am/fm amplified ant which is used in many nissan cars.

if the jensen has a blue or a blue/white wire, connect it to one of those. if not, you can always connect it to the red ACC wire. that should solve your reception problem..

ok i got a hold of audiovox call center and to bypass or unlock your stereo

you have to type on the radios password (very begging) blue screen

5,4,3,2,1,0 this is the factory reset for all the jesen i hope

it worked for my VM9512 !!!!!! with the lost user password

i have a advent dvd touchscreen player car stereo and i have installed but it is asking for a program code i installed it in my 2005 chevy silverado 2500 hd pick up truck can u help me please ?

If you change the password contact customer service at 1-800-323-4815
hold the unlock your stereo>5,4,3,2,1,0 this is the factory reset

You need to contact the former owner, or any Jensen dealer or Jensen directly via online. You might check your glovebox for a card w/code on it. Those codes are very specific and might require you pulling radio and getting serial # off it. (sorry didn't have a better answer)

I would try an Amplified Antenna or a signal Amplifier like this one.
