Are you using the charging cables that came with it? That is a type C. Are you securely attaching the charging cable? A loose connection would keep the battery from charging. To stop the alarm you have to disable ((all)) the alarms. In (cx-808) you can set 8 alarms; so you have to press "alarm" , then "modify" 8 times. (on the right cornor shows the number of the alarms.)
