Plantronics CS70 Wireless Headset Questions & Answers
Can hear but other party cannot hear me
There are a couple of things you need to check. First, make sure it's
connected correctly to the phone. This guide should help you with that:
Plantronics CS70N User's GuideSecondly, the compatibility dial on the left side of the base has
numbers 1-4. The indicator to the right of the dial needs to point to
one of the numbers,
never between numbers. Most
phones operate using #1 for compatibility but you can dial in the others
if you're still having issues. That should get you up and running.Good luck from

Clicking noise
It sounds like the compatibility dial may be set on the wrong setting. On the
base, on the left side, if you're facing it, you will see a dial numbered
1-4. Try turning the dial one number at a time during a call and see
if that fixes the clicking. If that doesn't fix it, you might need to do a reset on the unit (
CS70 Reset Instructions). Last, you may need to replace the headset. There are replacement headsets
available that are refurbished, or whole units that are refurbished with a
one year warranty.Good luck from

Can not hear the beep notification when a call
The
lifer is what notifies your headset that it has an incoming call. Try
turning the ringer volume up on your phone first and see if that solves
the problem. If that does not help, it could be that the sensor on the lifter is going out. The lifter
ships with a ring detector that has a 2.5mm jack on one end and a small
round microphone on the other end. You could try plugging this into the
back of the lifter and setting the microphone next to where the lifter
is mounted on your phone. This might help in picking up the sound of the
phone's ring tones. If that doesn't help, you might consider replacing
the lifter.

DELAY WHEN RECEIVING A CALL
I'm assuming you are using a Plantronics HL10 handset lifter. The
