Ok first check the setting of your anti-virus at times it integrates the firewall setting and block your webcam

I believe Skype requires at least DirectX 11 to work now.

I think there is some infection which is not allowing to install the app. so lets take care of it in few steps and then you will have no issues at all ! You Need To Boot Your Computer In Safemode With Networking By Pressing F8 On Keyborad At System Restart And Then Follow The Procedures Given Below .... step 1. go to the given link https://www.malwarebytes.org/ and download free copy of malawarebytes , install it and update the database and run it with complete scan , and delete all the infections found step 2. restart you computer and now you are ready for lifecam installation. hope this solution helps you ! thanks and regards

Lifecam was fine for XP & Vista but not for windows 7 or 8 so if you're using the newer widows I suggest buying a Logitech 9000 or better, they work with everything. If not this might point you in the right direction, you med the drivers for your version of the camera e.g. 2.1, 3.0, 3000 Microsoft Hardware

Check the WEcam settings. Most WEBcam have a setting toinvert and mirror the image

The blurring problem might be due to out of focussing. The outer rim of your webcam is rotatable and can be used to set the focus of webcam.

You should turn on the webcam and rotate the outer rim surrounding the lens until you get a focused and sharp image.

Sir You Just Need To Install Google Youcam Or Any Cam Application In Order To Use Your Webcam !Incase This Does Not Fit Your Solution Then Try Reinstalling The Drivers Of Webcam You Have But Before You Do That Go To System>Device Manager>And See That Drivers Under Imaging Device Shows Your Cam And No Exclamation OR Question Mark Is Seen....Coz If Drivers Disabled Then It Will Reflect "A RED CROSS" And If Drivers Corrupt Or Missing It Will Give Question Mark/Exclamation Mark...Thanks
